My last MOC of the year 2010;

_dsc04314rri.jpg

This building was constructed in the year 1789, and is today a museum.

The typical tourist photo...

Note the 4-plate-wide upper windows...

I did not have much information about the back side of the building, so some

details might be wrong, but generally this a pretty exact reproduction.

The bell tower is actually octagonal in real life, so perfect for Lego representation!

Lovely! :wub: Great choice for the vibrant color scheme, and the overall design and details are very accurate based on the reference pics. But what makes this even a greater build is the skewed positioning of the structure on the base - very unique, accurate, and well executed. Impressive job Hoexbroe! :thumbup:

I am familiar with your previous work, and I am a big fan of your ships, and this building is no exception! It is beautiful.. :wub: Roof on a bell tower is a great piece of engineering! :thumbup:

Excellent MOC! It is very realistic. I too particularly like the sloped base and the bell tower roof. :thumbup:

Extremely well done. :classic:

Beautiful, just beautiful.....the bell tower and roof are fantastic and the red/black walls just make this creation pop. :grin:

Excellent work 'Hoexbroe' and keep on MOCing ! (Oh, happy new year to you too !) :sweet:

This is really well done. I like that the work isn't needlessly busy but at the same time the build is quite sophisticated. The sloped path is nice but it's the skewed angle of the building that really stands out. Little details like the snot windows on the sides of the building and the general shape of the bell tower are just icing on the cake. The entire piece just comes together perfectly. I must say, there aren't many MOCs that look this polished. I hope we'll be seeing more works like this in the new year!

Very well done,

I've been in Ebeltoft 2 years ago. (holiday to Denmark and visiting LEGOLAND)

So it's nice to see a MOC of a building I've seen. You did an excellent job on this one.

I'm just curious:

I see your from Spain, so why did you do a MOC of an building in a village in Denmark?

Amazing! I love the colors, and the roof and bell tower are outstanding. This deserves a front-page! :thumbup:

Wow... What can I say... THANKS! :classic:

Thanks.

I´m danish, but living in Spain now.

My grandparents had a summerhouse in Ebeltoft for many years. I´ve been there (inside also) in person.

Thanks to all of you for the nice comments!

Nice building. Can you take a photo of the tree to see the construction and the details? :wink:

Try looking here;

The tree was a test. Basically trying to use the method for the texturing of the lower walls of the building.

It turned out to be quite piece-intensive and I dont have much brown or green stuff...

Notice also the brick-build owl overseeing the area... ;-)
