Fenrakk Swamp Dragon

The Fenrakk Swamp Dragon is a giant Rahi that is feared by Matoran villagers living in the Southern Island chains. Although its wings are not large enough to let it fly, combined with its tail fin, they allow this Rahi to swim through the shallow waters of the marshes that it patrols at incredible speeds. By the time its prey see the vibrant colours of this Rahi emerging through the mist, it is far too late for it to escape. Although few in numbers, these Rahi make any expedition into the marshes more hazardous than it would be otherwise, and get their name because a hungry Fenrakk Swamp Dragon is the only thing that can save a Matoran from a Fenrakk Spider attack - as long as the spider is enough to temporarily quench the dragon's appetite!

I've been working on this MOC for a long time, but I finally found the time to finish is, and I conveniently had Jetbug's new armour to add on to it. The main purpose of the MOC was to use the wing pieces, which use the most awful combination of colours for MOCing with together.

Wow. This is the best Bionicle MOC I've seen in a really long time. I can't even fathom how big this will be in real life. I mean, just look at the Visorak head piece. That one piece is pretty big on its own, and it doesn't look big on this at all, which means this thing's gigantic! I like the Visorak feet as spikes too. It's a shame they don't make bigger wing pieces, or this thing will look really epic.

If you want scale, just note that the claws should be about the height of a minifig...

So it is VERY large. I estimate that it double Kardas in each of the three dimensions, that's 8 times larger.

That is a very impressive moc, both in size and detail and the colors blend so well together. My only problem is the wings. They are too small I think.

Thanks to KimT for frontpaging this, if it were not for that, I would've missed seeing this magnificent Bionicle creation. I may not be the biggest of Bionicle/HF fans, but this creation truly transcends themes and just looks mightily impressive - from the sheer massive size, to the effective choice of color scheme, to the overall shape and detailing - everything is just perfect! Truly an outstanding work on this one Brickthing!
