lego-maniac Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Maybe some of you remember this moc : but nothing is less sure ! Anyway, Someone ask me to rebuilt it. Nothing less intersting for me to do again the same thing so, I've decided to expand the area and to moc on a 16X16 size. More details appears. XimenaPaulina Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Wow, this is just a wonderful MOC, it's nice to see the previous version as I've missed seeing that one before. Both models are great, the second one is much improved with more updated details. Excellent job lego-maniac! Quote
Darth Yogi Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 That looks great. Really nice details. Where did you get that green lightning piece? I've never seen it. Great job Quote
Sam Vimes Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Very good job and where did the Green Lighting peice come from. Quote
Big Cam Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Wow, this is awesome! Something I didn't notice at first is the fireplace, which is outstanding. The MOC is solid, rally clean design and it just looks damn good! Quote
Capt. Stabbin Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Nice job! Great details! I particularly like your chandelier design, great work! Quote
Commander Laquiet Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Great MOC! While the new version is much 'cleaner' in it's detail (contrasting colour tiled floor is an example), I have to say I prefered the older version. It seems more chaotic, while in the newer version, Merlin is just having a 'moment of madness'. It kind of lost some of it's fun. However your rebuild is still fantastic, the curtains are a beutiful detail. Brilliant work. Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 This remake of yours 'lego-maniac' is beautiful with more detail and colour ! Great work and keep on casting spells ! Quote

Dan the Brickman Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 The first one does seem to capture the desired mood better, but I like some of the details in the second version. Each of the fireplaces are unique, and I love the chandeliers... That piece (for those who really need to know) comes from this set: Quote
