1499-1: Twin Starfire [space/Classic - 1987]

image

1499.l3b

Errors: None

If you could render it at 1920x1080, it would make a really nice wallpaper :classic:

I've added 1920x1080 render to flickr for the same picture.

Why does the cockpit color look like normal trans-green, instead of trans-neon-green?

It came from the material library in Blender. As you can see on the other models, the normal trans-green is way too dark. Overall, the materials, especially the transparent ones aren't that good and need some work, but now, I'm more into building models as fixing blender problems.

21021 Marina Bay Sands - Architecture

21021e.png

Download: link

Errors: Tile 1x8 with text "Marina Bay Sands" not yet available. And there is some collision between the dark bluish gray 1x1 plates on the base and the structure. It is meant to keep the building in place, but it must be a very tight fit in the real set.

Better render is forthcoming, transparent plates take some time.....

Edit: Replaced render. Also the two tiles 2x2 round on top of the building should be rotated 45 degrees. Current part does not allow this. This should be a new part which is not yet authorised on the unofficial parts tracker. I will update the .ldr file as it becomes available along with the name tile.

MPD file

Errors:

- Missing printing

I've cheated a little on the first image and manually created printed eyes on the monkey, but have not included this in the MPD file. The sets will be updated once the relevant part is created in LDraw.

Edit: Updated set names to match that of LEGO.com: http://www.lego.com/en-gb/creator/products/all-models

10197 Fire Engine Brigade ( Modulars )

missing proper length of yellow flexible bar. Had to improvise

missing proper female hair (using the one that is not as detailed, but similar styles.

I tried a few different building techniques with this one.

10197 mpd

I'm also building this model, but I can't seem to find the right torso's for the firefighters. I believe they are your own creation, or am I missing something? Can't open the actual file because bricksmith can't cope with some unavailable parts (the torso's included, I guess)

They load normally on my pc (LDview and SR3D Builder) so the parts should be somewhere on here. That means they should also be somewhere in the official parts or in the unofficial parts collection. They have LDraw number 973P7V.dat.

If you can't find them anywhere, I can send the .dat file to you :classic:

Thank you for the LDraw number . I have gone through all the torso's multiple times, but it must have been hiding for me  . The model will probably load but the string in the bell tower created an error list longer than my screen, so I couldn't get rid of it....
