Zip Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Gallery Torchur is your stereotypical villain, a subordinate of Von Nebula. He's mean, explosive, powerful, and isn't afraid to use force to get what he wants. Armed with twin hammer hands, this evil bot will smash right through you. Although he wasn't as notorious as his clone, he's still one of the most feared bots in the galaxy. Best "friends" (as in they don't get in fights as much as the other villains) with Thunder. This was a quick MOC, and I wouldn't consider it much better than the original, but it was a fun build nonetheless. Quote

Great torso design! Though I feel the lower arms need a little more armor, and his "mallets?" seem a little small for him. And those legs're perfect for him, they flow nicely. Very cool. Quote

But then again, this is more of the size. Personally, I find this one to be the worst out of my three entries. The limbs were thrown on, and the torso is only halfway finished. I think the hammers are already a good size for him, it's just that the skinny arms don't show enough bulk to make them fit in. Quote

That torso looks finsihed to me, just gotta work on these 'till something "clicks". Though the limbs as they are look like they'd belong in a lego set, never discount authenticity. IMHO he looks great, lots going on here, but not too much as to look busy, he retains the elegance of simplicity. And everything fits together well enough that he looks finsihed. Best of luck in the contest. Edited October 20, 2010 by Milargo Quote
