Mrlegoninja Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Hmm... I am not reallt into racers but we will just how to see how these turn out! Quote
prateek Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Lets see: Tiny Turbos: There is a lime green hotrod, a blue and yellow truck, a black and yellow race car, and a police car. Push sets: There is a yellow car, a red car, a lime green monster truck, and a blue, white and black motorcycle. Quote
Aanchir Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 My brother and I were looking at some catalog scans recently, and realized that the set Vicious Viper (the green air-pump-powered car) has a spoiler that says "Big Snake". LEGO couldn't make that sound more suggestive if they tried. Granted, it's one of the awesomer racers, with a snake-based aesthetic right down to the fangs in the front. So I guess that's probably just the AFOL in me talking. I like that one of the air-pump-powered Racers is also a motorcycle rather than a car. Really helps to add some variety. Wish it had a more creative structure, though, instead of the "straight horizontal beams connecting the wheels to the body" design. Quote
Raphy Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Yay, pictures! ....uploaded on the first of October :P And before anyone says anything, NO, they are NOT similar to any previous ones (except the hot rod)! :P Quote
Superkalle Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Yay, pictures! ....uploaded on the first of October :P And before anyone says anything, NO, they are NOT similar to any previous ones (except the hot rod)! :P I'm a completely hooked Tiny Turbos fan, so these look like a must have. But I would have loved to see some radically new designs coming out. Like the 8656. I'm not saying it's beautiful - just that it's....well, different. Quote

Raphy Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Hey guys! 2011 stand-alone can TTs have been added to Shop@Home. Will buy and review soon. :D But what about the fold-out tracks? I'm not worried about the huge-mungo TT playset, as that usually comes out later in the year, but I'm wondering about the fold-out tracks. Think they will make them this year? :P Quote

Think they will make them this year? :P Good observation that none of those have shown up! Now I'm kind of wondering if that sort of content might instead be reserved for the licensed Cars sets next year (which will be System rather than Duplo, and pretty close to Tiny Turbos scale). Quote
Raphy Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 (edited) If so, I'll blow a gasket. :P Anyways, I've ordered the four 2011 Tiny Turbos available. They should be here in a couple of days, so when they get here, I'll review them one by one! :D Edited December 13, 2010 by Raphy Quote
Raphy Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 20-11 can TTs came yesterday.... I'm going to review all four tomorrow. :D Quote
brickmack Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Cool. I'm not really a big fan of the sets themselves (except a few that were REALLY cool) but they do usually have good parts in them. Quote
