I am speechless. This is fantastic.

Just wondering: What's the bicycle doing there? It stands out a lot and kind of ruins the whole look. I'm guessing you're trying to retain some form or modern-ness in an old temple or something?

Thanks for your comments !

Just wondering: What's the bicycle doing there?

In my mind this kind of temple is open to everybody. Why don't take time to pray few minutes just before work ? :)

This is the bicycle of the kneeled woman ;)

Out of curiosity, what all did you use for the roof design?

I use this parts : Bracket 1X2 - 1X4 this way I have to stud face. Then, plates and wings

Oh my... That's is one hell of a great Japanese temple MOC lego-maniac! You pretty much nailed the Japanese architecture of the temple perfectly! default_thumbup.gif I also like the modified legs of your minifigs, especially the kneeling samurai. I love this, really love this. default_wubnew.gif

Great job. I really like everything. Outstanding job on the roof, gong, detail work, adding the bicycle & visitor kneeling, ect, ect..................

A very nice creation  I think that for the most part it is great as is, perhaps as mentioned, a smoother roof would look better, but otherwise it is really nice.

I see what you mean but I do not have any solution ....

as I want to have a plate for the roof with stud outside and a plate under the roof with stud outside, I can't do smoother than a brick....

I want you to know that people make me remarke that the higher fig do not wear a lego parts but a playmobil parts !!!

damned, I was sure it belongs to a lego horse !

So Have to shoot the moc again after correction :)

Thanks all for your comments

I'm not very conviced by the color of the roof (why green ???)

Wow, great temple! All of the elements in this are great. I didn't know that such a simple design could work so well for the roof. I think this is the best Japanese temple I have seen, and I hope you win the contest.

That's awesome!

P.S.Sorry for asking, but how much time it took you to build?Just interesting.

No problem for asking.

it takes me 3 nights from 21:00 to 23:OO

and around 1 hour for shooting and puting the minifigs.

Total : 7 hours

I'm not a fast builder :)

I really like your design, the massive number of studs at first was a turn off for me, but the more I looked at the pictures, the more I like it.

Plus regardless of the studs, the design is great, and your custom figs fit the scene perfectly.
