I've been working on this one for a while, since before I started on my last MOC. I'm very pleased to say that it's finished!

Fun facts:

- Takes about 560 steps to build in LDD's build mode

- Nearly 1,500 pieces, of which there are:

- 124 tan 1 x 2 log bricks (all but 2 of them turned sideways), and:

- 74 dark brown 1 x 4 tiles.

I also wanna credit Legohaulic for inspiring this with his fantastic western town, and the square card table which was directly lifted from his saloon. :classic:

AWESOME LDD creation you have done 'Carbohydrates' and with such detail with the rooms upstairs and bar downstairs - AWESOME - I really like to see this brickbuilt for real !

Keep LDD'ing 'Carbohydrates' and I'm a conformist! too ! :sweet:

Lovely!

I saw your pics earlier on brickself and thought the hotel/saloon looked fantastic. Glad you've posted your creation here.

Loads of details and some very nice architecture. The massive amount of SNOT that you've used makes the structure look very authentic. Those log pieces and panels that run vertically are nice, but having things run horizontally looks so much better. The interior looks great as well, seems as though you've included pretty much everything.

Now to build this beauty in person...

That's a totally amazing Western MOCset, Carbohydrates! :oh:

I really  it!

It looks absolutely realistic and fits very well with all the official WW sets released in 1996.

I esp. like all these many interior details - simply amazing.

Very, very well done!

One of the things I like the most about your Western MOCs (Carbohydrates and Klaus-Dieter I'm poiting mainly at you) is how faithful you are to TLG designs. When someone sees one of your MOCs, he or she just knows it: That's an Western MOC.

I love the Castle theme and I usually go around looking for Castle related MOCs, and I see that each MOCer has his or her own personal style. There's nothing wrong about it, that's for sure - after all, that's what Lego is really about! -, but in the Castle theme, no one usually follows TLG designs. You guys do, and your MOCs looks as if they came out from TLG itself. (I'm not impling anything about the Castle MOCers/MOCs, don't get me wrong - even my WIPs don't even share any resemblance with TLG designs, that's for sure!)

So kudos to you, guys! I'm a conformist!!
