BrickWild Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 (edited) This is a working confidential document shredder. It is based off the one that I use at work. It DOESN'T actually shred stuff, like the real thing. Although it does have rotating 'shredding blades' inside! It runs from a 9v cubic motor and the top is removable. Here it is: Cathing compartment door opens to allow collection box to be removed! Shredding blades Collection compartent, box removed Shredder in operation Edited June 25, 2011 by Rufus Indexed Quote
Alopex Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Lovely! It seems to work well. Sad it can't really shred stuff. Quote

Modulex Guy Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 You know what...I bet if you put a scale sized sheet of paper in there it might shred and chew it up a bit in those gears, maybe a 1 inch by 2 inch sheet of paper? Quote
BrickWild Posted June 17, 2010 Author Posted June 17, 2010 You know what...I bet if you put a scale sized sheet of paper in there it might shred and chew it up a bit in those gears, maybe a 1 inch by 2 inch sheet of paper? Unfortunately, I may say that it would jam the machine or damage the moving parts... Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Nice, really nice work 'BrickWild'! Very clever and unique idea, and even better executed in 'brick-form'. Quote
