In celebration of BIONICLE's return and the new updated releases of the original team of Toa, I dug up these old LXFs of mine, blew the dust off of them, fixed them up, and made them presentable for this index. To my surprise, even though the big specialized BIONICLE pieces were missing from LDD, these LXFs are actually around 80% complete thanks to all the TECHNIC elements included in these sets. That remaining 20% has been covered by substitutions and custom assemblies.

Next time remember to avoid to use non standard font in your posts.

PS: Dropbox gave some problem in the past (hotlinks blocked because of bandwidth problems and fake hotlinks), maybe it is better to use one of the LEGO related hosting sites, brickshelf or bricksafe (for both images and lxf files).

Errors / notes:

• Prints for part 6032093 (Mini Upper Part No 1772) not available in LDD - replaced with suitable front and back torso prints.
  
• The sled with rider, the girl, and the hockey puck do not make connections with anything, so consider this before moving the model.
  
• AAARRGGHH I used the wrong print for the girl's torso. This is what happens when you are me and you make a single brick palette for both models and then forget things (corrected: 2014-11-20 @ 17:28 GMT).

There's been a bit of complaining about the brick-built hockey sticks in 40107, despite it being a Creator "thing" to do things like this wherever possible. I think people just want more minifig accessories...

I booked these sets a while ago (over 16 months ago, in fact), and I suddenly got the urge to tackle the tricky assemblies and JUST GET THEM DONE. My solutions aren't perfect, but I wanted to avoid having to put assemblies to one side at all costs. I don't blame anyone for not waiting for me to make these, so by now they could be considered as duplicates.

31011 - Aviation Adventures [Model A] - theme: Creator

Errors / notes:

• Due to collision errors (and in spite of about an hour of brain-punching from editing the LXFML to position the moving assembly to fit), part 32002 (1 1/2 M Connecting Bush), cannot be used to connect the black 3M beam to the 8M gear rack. I placed it at the other end of the rack to have it at least connect to the assembly in some way.
  
• Wings, engine hatch and rear canopy assemblies are grouped for all sorts of virtual playtime fun!

31011 - Aviation Adventures [Model B] - theme: Creator

Errors / notes:

• Collision error (page 48, step 51-52) between canopy part 92279 (Cockpit 4x6x2 W Front Shaft) and 2 instances of part 15573 (Plate 1X2 W. 1 Knob) where the "notches" between the stud cutaways near the front of the canopy are presumably expected to slot into the hollow knobs on the jumper plates. These jumper plates have been substituted with 1x2 tiles.
  
• Thankfully, no major problems with fitting the nifty mechanism for spinning the rotor blades. The 11M beam needed to be rotated up by 0.5° to clear the black 1x2 tile it rests upon near the back of the model. Sweet mercy, if only the "A" model's solution was that easy!

Over a year ago, I had previously stated that the Power Miners theme is fully indexed. This was, of course, before I realized that alternate models and combination models were allowed to be submitted to the index. Now, with this final addition, I can say for sure this time that the Power Miners theme is fully indexed... that is, until someone manages to find the instructions to the supposed "Cargo Crusher" alternate model, but that's another story.

Never building black things again, the instructions have no lighting, it's so hard to see what goes where ~_~

Tell me about any mistakes that might have resulted in

4896 - Roaring Roadsters (A model) - Theme: Creator LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file

I noticed only the SUV and dragster of this set were built, so here's the cover boy of the set~

Notes:

-the steering system is correct but is built in a bit of a reverse order if compared to the instructions. The brake assemblies must be connected to the forks first, after which the steering beam (with the teeth) can be attached on them.

However, the gear 32270 that would transfer the rotation of the steering shaft to the steering bar couldn't be placed, so it has been replaced with gear 3647. (It looks as if it might actually work with this gear too, though i'm not sure o_O)

-The 2x8 plate above the headlights/grille couldn't be attached. Replaced with 2 2x3 plates and a 1x2 Plate with Door Rail (32028)

-Part 4095 (bar below the hood) had to be attached backwards to fit.

-Upper parts of the seats aren't mounted all the way into the lower parts

- The attachment function of the forum is not a good solution for sharing the lfx files. I suggest you to use brickshelf or bricksafe to share both image and lxf file.

8354 - Exo Force Bike - Theme: Racers LDD 4.3.8 .LXF file

Pullback Motor 10 x 5 x 4 (Motor 8) replaced with a brick-built assembly. It's as accurate as i could ge it, though some pieces are floating and the two pinholes closest to the wheel on the bottom are cross holes instead.

Wheel 44293c0144293c01 isn't available on LDD, so i used the same wheel as in the rear. This necessitated a few parts being mounted only half-way into their pins,like the silver Bionicle eyes and the technic pieces holding the front wheel

LDD doesn't recognize the half-pin connection to 111

LDD didn't let me place the blue crossaxle/pin near aforementioned piece, replaced with 2m axle

Bushings can't be placed inside the fairings (illegal technique?), so them and their flex tubes and the flex tubes' mounts have been placed as similarly as possible.

I can't seem to be able to align the fairings as they should be (with the top ones under the bottom ones)

The 3176s get pushed up by a small amount, but this amount is enough to make the 87079 (Flat Tile 2x4) get removed each time I reloaded the model. The 6562s have been moved up to prevent this. A horrible solution.
