In this case, all of your brown parts are colored 217 Brown (Bricklink's Dark Flesh) rather than 25 Earth Orange (Bricklink's Brown)

About brown:

Referring to peeron color chart "217 Brown" is the same as BL Brown and Peeron OldBrown, so that's the colour I used. Isn't it the right colour?

Exactly. Peeron lists Bricklink Brown and LDD Brown as being the same, and Bricklink Earth Orange and LDD Earth Orange as being the same.

Exactly. Peeron lists Bricklink Brown and LDD Brown as being the same, and Bricklink Earth Orange and LDD Earth Orange as being the same.

Which is incorrect. LDD's 217 Brown is Bricklink's Dark Flesh, LDD's 25 Earth Orange is Bricklink's Brown, and LDD's 12 Light Orange Brown is Bricklink's Earth Orange. This annoys me a great deal as I normally point to Peeron's color chart as one of the most reliable cross-referenced color charts on the web.

Evidence can be seen here, on a replacement parts page for 8604 Toa Onewa, here, on a replacement parts page for 6762 Fort Legoredo, and here, on a replacement parts page for 4728 Escape from Privet Drive.

It should be noted that Bricklink inaccurately labels some bricks as this last color which are decidedly not, such as this hair, also from 4728 Escape from Privet Drive. It is in fact Dark Nougat, a color which I don't believe Bricklink even recognizes, and is obviously a different color from Ron's hair in the same set if you compare them in real life.

I will be contacting Peeron to see about having that error corrected. It would be a shame to have to find or create another resource to point LDD users towards for identifying colors.

Hi!

If you want to update an existing file, you first have to contact its author.

See the rules in the first page for more informations! :classic:

Sorry. How do I contact the author? It's not obvious to me. I'm new...

You should send him a Private message, telling him to inform the indexer (me  ) he will not update his file delegating you to do the work. :classic:

Note that you need to have 10 posts in this forum to use private messages. As your present posts are 9, I think this will not be a problem!

I am posting this message so I'll have 10 posts. That way I'll be able to send private messages which I was unable to do when I posted the file in question.

Thanks for all your help.

30081 Skeleton Chopper

Theme - Ninjago

*Image Snipped*

download

Missing head print

The legs are also supposed to be in white and black, which is impossible in the current version of LDD. Hopefully they'll fix that. :sadnew:

Couldn't resist while waiting for the new LDD update:

6090 Royal Knight's Castle - Theme: Castle

6090%20Royal%20Knights%20Castle.png?dl_name=6090%20Royal%20Knights%20Castle.png

LXF File

The raised baseplate and pulley brick were substituted, I had to guess a bit at the geometry of the base but it mostly seems right. If it doesn't make it into the next update I'll upload it to the replacement parts thread. :classic:

I've made a LDD creation.

It's Thornraxx!

6228- Thornraxx- Hero Factory

Changes:

Head different (does not exist in LDD)

No mouth ball (doesn't fit)

Tubes not in all the way (I don't know how to do this)

Wings are Kopaka's blades (no Gorast wings)

Hi, welcome in this topic!

In order for your insertion to be regular, you should:

- share the lxf file

- post a preview image of the set (a screenshot without background, not bigger than 512x512 pixels, without blank borders)

You can see other regular posts as reference, or read again the rules in the firs post of the topic.

Did you use the last version of LDD to built the set?

In the last version there are many new pieces, perhaps you could even find the right head.

@penguinz: This is the place to post your updates.

Penguinz's sets appears to be already made in LDD4, according to the index.

So it seems he did right. :classic:

4432 Garbage Truck- Theme: City

--snip--

Errors

Prints/Stickers.

Fish, banana and studs don't fit in bins.

Great work! I love this set! Especially the stinky fish!

This file can be improved by making the following corrections:

- the correct head/face design for the female minifigure exists in LDD 4.2.5 (decoration '99569,0,0')

- the correct torso design exists in LDD 4.2.5 (decoration '89309,89310')

- the hats should be LDD part 86035 instead of 4485

- the exhaust pipe should be LDD part 40620 instead of 71137

- the Technic 1/2 pin (4274), used as a part of the build process, is not needed if the correct exhaust pipe is used and isn't a part of the official set anyways

Thanks!

ERRORS:

Missing part 96874

Incorrect/missing prints and stickers

Odd as it seems the 96874 Brick Seperator part is actually in LDD 4.2.5, so you should be able to add it.

4432 Garbage Truck- Theme: City

LXF File

Errors

Prints/Stickers.

Fish, banana and studs don't fit in bins.

Adding to ok13's comment:

1) You've used the incorrect green color on the truck. It should be 28-DarkGreen

2) The garbage will actually fit in the bins...if you can jolt them in there. What people normally do (if they are in the mood for some advanced stuff) is to build some scafolding and "build" the banana and fish into the bin.

Updated 6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase, 6862 Superman Vs Power Armour Lex, 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City and 30160 Batman On Boat here.

It's cool to see Batman with headgear and cape :sweet:

--snip--

My review of the parts in this LDD drawing was based on the Bricklink parts list which shows there are both Dark Green (#28) and Bright Green (#37) parts in set 4432. Superkalle, I suggest you review the Bricklink inventory and the instructions which are available on Brickset. If of course you actually own this set and can confirm that there are only Dark Green (#28) parts in this set, please see that the Bricklink parts list is updated.

Thanks!
