CopMike Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Give me a break, what´s up with this trash can thingy? Why are people throwing away perfectly fine minifig bags? Setnumber: 8683 Minifig number&name: #5 The Zoombie Numbers of different minifigs in series 1: 16 Parts in this bag: 6 Price: probably around US $1.99 per bag Release: June 2010 The parts, great torso & legs IMO. Scary scary! I had to do a lot of digging to get my dinner today ! Quote
BlueBard Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 First! After the cheerleader this one's is definitely my favourite of Series 1 There are so many possibilities for those elements! From a hobo to a... zombie! Quote
the Inventor Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Great figure, I really like the head. That torso print is also nice, but I don't like his weapon choice it doesn't really fit with his suit. the Inventor Quote
FinalFeature Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Thanks for the review again CopMike. This is my favorite minifigure in the first series. I think a ton of these are needed for my Comic Con zombie walk. Is there any backprinting? Quote
squidman85 Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Great zombie. When i saw pictures with zombie from Toyfair,i thought that the chicken leg piece is taller than old one.Is it new? Quote
ZeeK Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 It's nice to see more figures! Is it possible to see the pictorial comparison of the shovels and turkey drumsticks (chicken leg?) Quote
Matn Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Thanks for these pictures! This one looks also very awesome. An official LEGO zombie! The face looks great, the torso and leg design is very nice. Quote
Sandy Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 This is a great fig, quite a brave one for a children's toy line too. The only thing I'm missing is a hairpiece. I really don't like "studheads" even though they're supposed to portray baldness. Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 (edited) What'd his head look like on the cheerleader?(or the cheerleaders hair on him?) The bone on the chicken leg is sorta longer than normal and the shovel bottom is flat, don't know what any of these small changes do other than making them rarer.(wait, there is one use for the longer bone, it can be held easily without falling out) This'll be great for undead MOCs. prateek Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Nice review, but I don't really like this guy Quote
jamtf Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 I am not too fond of this minifg. Themewise, I have no use for zombies and death eaters like those that were introduced in the Harry Potter line of products. On the other hand, how many figs did you Ambassadors get? Each day, we get new sneak previews of certain figs that we can buy later (around June of this year). Did you get them all or what is exactly happening with these early releases? Quote

The shovel is basicly the same as the classic 3837 -> , non-shine and a bit shorter handle though: Drumstick comparison pic, yummy yummy! Go Undeads, go Undeads!! Quote
General Armendariz Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Your so lucky to already have these!! This one is my favorite out of all and in the 2nd series the Poncho guy is Keep them coming! Quote
Ravenxl7 Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Great review. This is one of the minifigures I'm hoping to get when these things come out (shouldn't be too hard to just feel the bag to try and recognize certain pieces). Not sure what I'll do with it, as most of my Lego's are Harry Potter themed, and the only one's I know I'll be getting are all Harry Potter themed. Might make for a nice ghoul for the Burrow set, or even work nicely for an inferi. Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 He dug himself out eh ? Very nice - perfect for someone to make stop-motion horror flicks with and also might I say he could be from the I.R.S. or the A.T.O. here in the land of Oz. Thanks 'CopMike' again for another minifig review ! Oh, yeah before I forget.......I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Matn Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Thanks for the comparison of the newly designed pieces. I like them vary much, it's nice to have some diversity in mundane stuff like a chicken leg and a shovel. Quote
the enigma that is badger Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Thanks for the great review on what is hands down my most anticipated Collector Fig! All the shots are great, and clearly show just how fun this fig is going to be. Nice work, and again, thanks! Quote
Vexxion Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Wow. Never would have thought TLG would have made a Zombie. No more using troll heads or skeletons for Zombies. Nice Review. Still waiting for Emo kid. Quote
Nebsirob Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 I think, I´ll give him a hairpiece, and use him as Solomon Grundy. Quote
Dunjohn Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 You strange people can keep your cheerleaders, this is the one I've wanted most since day 1. Thanks for the preview, CopMike, he looks great! Quote
Ratshot Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Hes not very attractive looking Thanks for the review Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Cheerleaderheaded zombie looks like someone who works at a grocery store, but the suit makes it seem like a very low quality grocery store. Quote
jaredchan Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 This is a fig that I definitely can't miss! If only can I get dozens of them... Quote
Holodoc Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Mmmmmh. Although it seems I'm pretty alone with my opinion, I'll say it nevertheless: This is one of the figures that makes me think of buying NOT all of the collectibles. Same counts for the diver , the forest man, the ninja and the cowboy. For my taste it's a figure I can completely ignore without having the feeling of having missed something. I can understand those who want to 'army-build' with that figure, but in my Lego town there is no need for a zombie. Sorry. Quote
Rick Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Although it seems I'm pretty alone with my opinion, You're not Same counts for the diver , the forest man, the ninja and the cowboy. The forest man looks kinda cool though, but I generally am most excited about the clown, cheer leader, caveman, nurse... Quote
