Rook Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) Mon Calamari Aquaria Fighter Based off of the symbol for Aquarius, water being poured out urn. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquarius_(astrology) Coming up with the right base/frame proved harder then usual. Here's 5 other attempts. Edited February 28, 2010 by KimT Quote
Commander_Rob Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Looks very good, Rook! To me it looks a bit like a fighter version of a Gungan sub(because of the...thing at the back, I don't really know what to call it), but the overall design very much says "Mon Calamari". I also like that it does not look like some kind of fish, that is something you see way too often in underwater-themed vehicles. Quote
BlueDragonZ Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Nice Design. I really like the transparent cyan glass piece. Quote
Brickus Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Very nice, the tail end reminds me of the Gungan Sub, great work, keep it up. Quote
sok117 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 That looks really professional, nice job. Can't wait for you to do Sagittarius. Quote
Big Cam Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I can dig it. it has similarities to the Movie Gungan version, but is different enough to be noticably different. I like the cockpit door, the way it hangs over. I love seeing failed attempts. We only learn from our mistakes if we make them. (Not that they were mistakes, btu I think you get the idea.) Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Cool MOC 'Rook' ! Love the tail section and quad laser cannons, they look simular to the ones on the MF. Fantastic design 'Rook' and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
CommanderFox Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Another fantastic MOC Rook! I really like the design, and the parts you have used. The three guns at the front look Great! Nice job with this MOC! CommanderFox Quote
Harrison Bored Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Seriously cool! I love the detail even with gunner and the back end is amazing.... The front 3 like ribs on each side is a really slick touch! Quote

prateek Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Nice! I love the cockpit, and the lime green is an awesome touch Quote
Legostein Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Hello! I pretty much like the tail constructions with the flex tubes and wheels. It's a great improvement over the technique used for the Bongo Sub. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
CELESTRIAL Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 This is a real nifty little creation ! i like how you constructed the shape on the side's, and the long tail at the back brings it all together nicely. Great design and a great color scheme Quote
John31388 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Great Moc. I love the design really creative. Quote
