Armothe Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Just wanted to share one of my latest customs: Jackal from HALO. It uses some pretty interesting techniques. -A Quote
Big Cam Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Wow, that's alot of just plain custom work. Pretty much the only thing "normal" is the torso. Great job, really creative fot he legs and head. Quote
AwesomeStar Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 FINALLY, a decent model of a Jackal! Sir, the Lego-Halo fan community beseeches you! It looks complicated, but I can see how it works (mostly). Is there any tips required in building this (i.e. I want to steal the technique! ) Really well done - you've made my day! ~A.S. Quote
RoryoCox Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Your Jackal is amazing. I love the way you use the droid head and the way the legs are made. Quote
LuxorV Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Very interesting techniques! As said, it strikes as quite to very compicated at first glance, but it hides a beautiful simplicity of design Great job, Armothe! I also nitice the new Clear Space Marine Armor over there. I always wander why TLG do not produce clear minifgs; they would be perfect with this. Hope it's not the proverbial 'armor of glass' (btw, I seem to remember there was a song/music by the same name in the original Halo soundtrack) LuxorV Quote
Tanma Dude Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 That jackal is awesome! Very creative use of parts too! 10/10! Quote
prateek Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Oh, wow. Most of those pieces are official! I can't believe you made this with such "limited" pieces Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 This is by far the best Kig-yar I have ever seen. Very inticate, yet simple design. What are those pieces at the ends of the hands used for the legs/ feet? -'Skintas Quote
Delta 38 Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 I like the technique used for the legs and Carbine. The shield could be larger (if such a part existed), but otherwise, quite good. Quote
CommanderFox Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Wow! thats really cool Armothe! good use of parts! I like the colour scheme. Nice job! CommanderFox Quote
