Chrispockster Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Out on the range With the passing of the Homestead Act of 2310 the NTAE sector of the range partition was opened to possible colonists. A young colonist stands by a rest module on his stake. kill will Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Love it! All the little details are awesome, and the use of the sail is perfect. Quote
Darth Hawken Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Cool Mars camp and wonderful use of astromechs and the sail from Jabbas Sail Barage, if I'm correct. I bet that astronaught is lonely all by himself yet he has a toy robot and nice color use Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I'm not a big Space fan, but I must say that this is a very eye-catching creation. I love how you designed the sleeping quarters, especially with the colors you chose. The rover/vehicle is a very interesting and unusual design, and the way you created the orange ground - most unique. Is that felt or other fabric? I think this deserves to be front-paged. Very neat creation Chris. Quote
NewRight Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Wow! This is really cool. I like the module and the rover is great too! Quote
Legostein Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Hello! This is a great scene with an excellent choice of parts. I can see at least four different types of fences. These are versatile pieces not only for regular fence duty, and you used them very well! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 AWESOME, simply awesome ! Love the surround ground.......burnt orange...fantastic ! The landrover - excellent ! Good one 'Chrispockster' and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
cryoshell Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 magnificent, Chrispockster ! I love the comfortable design of the module . And the rover is very nice . Is the sail actually connected with the set or does it just stand on it ? Excellent work, keep on MOCing ! Quote
prateek Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 This is really cool. I'm pretty sure that all the Martians seeing this are probably saying that this is a really nice redention of how it happened in their parallel universe Quote
CommanderFox Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 (edited) I love this MOC Chrispockster! Great job on the little detailes that are in it, nice use of R2-D2 parts and sail pieces. Great job on this MOC! CommanderFox Edited February 1, 2010 by CommanderFox Quote
Big Cam Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Very cool. I can't help but see two R2 units operating the ship. The rover is really nice, I like the orange wheels, it's very accurate. Quote
Mark Kelso Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Nice parts use, and the color choices are terrific. I also think that...hey, wait...I think I see Arnold schwarzeneggar!!? Quote
RoryoCox Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Really nice, the colours are brilliant. I am amazed at the building! Quote
Delta 38 Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 The house module is very nice. Can minifigs actually fit inside it, or is it just for decoration? Either way, still good. I can see it being expanded to connect to part of a colony, or something. Quote
MrBrickStudios Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I really, really like this. The little futuristic tent idea is marvellous Quote
