Mörs Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 (edited) Theme: Castle Subtheme: Royal Knights Year released: 1995 Pieces: 74 Minifigs: 2 Price: NDA This was one of the 3 smallest sets out of the Royal Knights line. And as such, a truly outstanding one, for certain! It is supposed to be a sort of a guarded chamber with a golden goblet inside. The main feature of this set -- as the name suggests -- is the skeleton surprise... As you can see, the set contains quite a few useful grey pieces... I put the goblet outside so you could see it, but it's supposed to be INside. Here you have a (poor) close-up of the guard. Obviously, this wasn't the shield he's supposed to carry, but the original one was crushed by a fat girl a long time ago. The jutting out grey piece is what the skeleton is clinged onto. Speaking of which... Here's the main play feature of the set... Just pull out that lance, and... The skeleton will come at anyone trying to steal the goblet! It works very well. Score: Design: 9/10 (It looks very classy, don't you think?) Playability: 6/10 (You can scare the guard with the skeleton but not much else.) Pieces: 10/10! (For such a small set, you get a lot of castle building material. Including 4 castle wall pieces!) Again, sorry for the poor quality of the shots; I'm still learning...
