Tavernello Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Hi! I've finished my last MOC: a motorized windimill with PF. See this video...the pictures coming soon! Windmill - Flickr Thank you for the comments! The pictures: Flickr - Pictures Quote
Darth Legolas Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 That's one of the greatest Castle PF combination's I've ever seen! Not only is the MOC amazingly detailed and awesome on it's own, but it's also motorized! I can't wait to open my PF set for the holidays! Quote
Etzel Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 That's a really nice creation, Tavernello! I really like that we are able to look inside and see the millstones work. The windmill it self is very nice and you did a good job working with those curved shapes. Can't wait to see some pictures of the details! Good luck in the contest! Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Simply beautiful ! One the best MOC's I have seen on EB ! The windmill sets the whole thing off, sweet !!! From the stone work to the gardens, my hats off to you 'Tavernallo'. Fanastic ! Quote
brickme Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 This is a very nice moc! I hope you win because this most certainly deserves it. p.s. nice toaster! Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted December 3, 2009 Eurobricks Emperor Posted December 3, 2009 This look like a very fine creation. I'm looking forward to the pictures so I can take a closer look at it. Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Your MOC looks great. I also would like to see pictures to get a better look at all the details. The video is cool to see it actually working but the music just doesn't work at all with your castle theme. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 This is a nice creation, I look forward to the pics to get a closer look, but it appears you have chosen a nice selection of colours and created a nice looking windmill. Quote
Tavernello Posted December 4, 2009 Author Posted December 4, 2009 Thank you for the comments guys! Quote
74louloute Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 As I already said elsewhere, I really love your MOC. The entire building is very well made, from the base (not square as usual), to the spherical roof and the round shape of the mill. I also like the little house, and the fact that you made it modular is even more great. Of course, the motorized function is icing in the cake ! Great job, and this MOC is definitly a reference for forthcoming MOC. Quote
CommanderFox Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 (edited) Amazing job with this Windmill, Tavernello I really like the roof technique you used for the house, and the Windmill walls look Great! I can just see a huge MOC with tons of these all over a country side and little farm houses. Very nicely done! CommanderFox Edited December 5, 2009 by CommanderFox Quote
Milan Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Excellent! One of the nicest work I have ever seen! Truly beautiful! Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I just saw this on Flickr, wonderful job! The shape of the mill is very well done and i love the fact that it actually works. Quote
Ras 74 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 A very wonderful Windmill Tavernello Good luck in the contest! Quote
quietworkshop Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 (edited) Ah, where to begin! This is really fantastic. From the modular design to the PF function... I really like how you've made the house and the windmill appear seamless. As in - they look natural and as one entity rather then a house AND a windmill. It's a windmill with a house! The front yard with it's plant life, the chicken, baskets of whatever, the keeper's wife and baby all work very well! The exposed base with it's inner workings is also great...as is the black spider lurking. I also like the bedroom, simple but effective. Can you tell I like your MOC? Last but not least, the PF function is A+! A few days ago I was looking at some photos of a motorized 7747 Wind Turbine Transport and though that a) I'd love to build a version to integrate with my Medieval Market Village and b) theirs spun waaay too fast. Yours takes care of both wants! Excellent MOC. PS. Where can I vote?! Edited December 8, 2009 by quietworkshop Quote
Tavernello Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 Thank you! I think that Colossal Castle Contest's winners are elected by judges not by people! Thank you again for the congratulations! Quote
Commander Laquiet Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Wow! This is one of the best creation's I've seen in it's particular genre. I really like the stone work of the windmill. Fantastic work! Quote
