Hound Knight Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I present to you my (late) 32x32 castle, The Fortress of the Black Knights: Enjoy! Quote
Commander Laquiet Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Very nice work! I like the castle-ish feel to it, and the colour scheme works very well. Good work! Quote
Milan Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Yeah, I like the black and gray combination on the walls. Looking nice! Quote
Ratshot Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 This looks good enough to be an official set I think its a little too big though. The others are right, your color scheme is great Good work Hound Knight. Quote
Legostein Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Hello! Great castle! It reminds me to those great castle sets when I was young, and the classic castle series had its heyday. Your design uses many of the classic castle building techniques which I like a lot! Of course you specialized it with nice improvements like tooth plates for the gate and real windows for under the 2-wide archs. And thos little mushrooms are cute! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Very nice, very medieval I like the gate a lot, and also the black bricks in it. I think it could use some more details though. Maybe some barrels, flags, torches and stuff like that. Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Oddly enough, the Black Knights is the name of my high school football team.... Nicely done, HK! I like how you've blended both old and new elements. Perhaps we can see some better pictures of the interior? Quote
Karzon989 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Very nice. The colours match great to each other. Quote
BlueBard Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Nice job, good to see someone still like those old Black Knights fellows! BTW, the french name for your castle is a bit incorrect. The correct way would be "ForteREsse des chevaliers noirS" Quote
