"Auld Lang Sine..."

Recommended Posts

indexed.gif B-V-15C

"Should old acquaintance be forgot,

And never brought to mind;

Should old acquaintance be forgot,

And days of old lang syne.

We two have run about the hills,

And pulled the daisies fine.

We've wandered many a weary foot,

Since old lang syne.

We two have paddled in the burn,

From morning sun till dine,

But seas between us broad have roared,

Since old lang syne.

And here's a hand my trusty friend,

And put your hand in mine.

We'll take a right good willie-waught,

For old lang syne.

And surely you'll lift up your glass,

For surely I'll lift mine,

And we'll drink a cup of kindness yet,

For old lang syne.

For old lang syne, my dear,

For old lang syne,

We'll take a cup of kindness yet,

For old lang syne."

Its not the song but the wine :D :P

Athos' vignettes are such a treat each time !!!! I always love the story (or song in that case) behind the creation which makes it a lot more lively :oD

Fantastic work as always Athos aka "Vignette Splendor" ;)
