In my not so humble opinion the 7150 Y-wing was one of the least accurate Star Wars sets. It was on up there with the Naboo Starfighter and the Gungan Sub. I have tried to fix as many of the problems as I could. The hardest part was putting in enough greebles and lowering the engines. Please tell me what I can do to make it even better.

(yes, I now am thinking about changing the cab)

Great job modifying it. In my opinion, they really improved it with the second Y-Wing. When this Y-Wing was released, most of the sets were not very detailed. Lego had just gotten into Star Wars and they were still working out the bugs.

Agreed, the 2nd Y-wing is waay better than this older model, when considering design and greeble.

I actually like the 7150 version, but I have a soft spot for the older more simple Star Wars sets.

It's the same thing with the X-wing, the newer models are awesome compared to the first one, but it still holds a special place in my mind (and heart).
