The Cobra Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Don't know if this has been posted yet, please don't feed sharks with my corpse if it did: Lego Brickmaster Pirate also check out Lego Brickmaster Castle Quote
martinsuper Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Yeah, thats totally a custom cannon. And then they say they dont look at what we do.... Quote
Zorro Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Looks cool, but a bit expensive IMO. Well, on the other hand I don't know the Euro price yet! Quote
chris_austin Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Awesome! The pirate cannon doesn't look like the cannon piece I recognise. Looks very black. Anyone have any more details? Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I agree that cannon looks very interesting, the rest as well. Thanks for sharing! Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 That did it. I am now a Brickmaster subscriber. Thanks Quote
Darth Legolas Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 (edited) Hornbricker, you do know that these have nothing to do with Brickmaster magazine, right? I like the canon. Edited May 8, 2009 by Darth Legolas Quote
The Cobra Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 Anytime, mates! And, yep, it's pricy. And the minifigs look exactly like those in the two impulse sets. That's not good. Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Hornbricker, you do know that these have nothing to do with Brickmaster magazine, right? Doah! Quote
Natman8000 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Those look pretty nice. I think the cannon is made of parts so the piece count is higher. Quote
Kanal-K1 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I like the way TLC is going with new Pirates. Even if I prefer Pirates-I, I must admit, that new line is also very attractive. Simplified for children, but, still attractive enough, with lot of play power. I built nearly all Pirate sets from old and also new line, and I am at least happy, that finally this theme came back. daxflame680 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Just took a look at this picture. Looks like the cannon will be brick-built (it looks pretty stupid too) Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Hornbricker, you do know that these have nothing to do with Brickmaster magazine, right? I certainly wouldn't expect regular Brickmaster membership sets to be this large, but if these aren't some of the regular subscriber sets, how will these be released? Quote
The Cobra Posted May 10, 2009 Author Posted May 10, 2009 Just took a look at this picture. Looks like the cannon will be brick-built (it looks pretty stupid too) I kind of understand that the book contains 6 intructions for different buildings. That's why the cannon is made that way. Quote
Freddie Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 I certainly wouldn't expect regular Brickmaster membership sets to be this large, but if these aren't some of the regular subscriber sets, how will these be released? These sets are released as a part of the Brickmasters idea-books that DK will release later this year. Purchase the pirates-themed idea-book, you get one of these sets. Simple really. Quote
YG-49 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 And the minifigs look exactly like those in the two impulse sets Except for the fact that the soldier has a pirate hat and the pirate has a (newly designed?) peg-leg. Quote
