Dennimator Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 (edited) OK, I´ve made an Agents Base MOC. It will partially be like a guiding round. Here we go! Hi! I´m agent Chase, to your service. Today I will guide you through our base. Here´s the entrance, with a entry phone. Let´s go inside. Here´s our control room. It even has a radar to detect Dr. Infernos henchmen. Here´s the prison, where we at the moment keep Dr. Inferno. This is our weapon rack. Here we have some tools. Here we have some other stuff. This is our projector. If we press it downwards, the wall presses in the button so that is starts to shine... ...Like this. Whoops, the intruder alert starts to screech! One of Dr Infernos henchmen is on his way to free Dr. Inferno!! Lookie, lookie! It´s Gold Tooth in his specialized flying...thingamajig. *Whistles and goes to free Dr. Inferno* *Lays invisible dynamite on the dooropener* BOOM!! Dr. Inferno is free! "Hold it!!" But...where are agent Chase going? "Haha!! You´ll never catch me again, losers! You are going to become PIE!!!!"(Yea I know, another crappy Agent Pie joke ) Ah-haa!! Now we know where Chase were going!! After him!! "*sigh* I have to do this every ******* time someone reads this review! I´m soooo tired of this!!!" Are Agent Chase going to catch Dr. Inferno? To be continued.....maybe... A last overview shot over the inside of the base: Please comment! Best regards Dennimator Edited November 22, 2008 by TheBrickster Quote

Dennimator Posted October 15, 2008 Author Posted October 15, 2008 (edited) Hmm, well it look's nice as the Lego Agents do need a stationary base to operate from, and I like the overal shape of the building/bunker. But honestly it looks to much like the set for my tastes as apart from ripping off the top of the trailer and adding a couple extra pieces theres nothing really been done. I think it would be cool if you decided to maybe keep this part of the base intact, and built on it, to make it a lot bigger and cooler. Examples for things you could add would be sleeping and living quarters, a vehicle bay, and maybe a big laser or missle to match Doctor Inferno's , just to name a few .BTW I liked your format for presenting this MOC . Yeah, I know it´s very small and looks like the trailer, but I recently got the Agents truck incredibly cheap, and this is all the dark blue pieces I have. I´m planning on Bricklinking some pieces, but as it is now, I cant build it bigger. But I have plans for how it´ll look like! I´ll add probably all the things you said and a wardrobe, connect a passage between this and the new one and put it on a big gray baseplate, so i guess you can call it a WIP. I didn´t think of a laser cannon, thanks for the tips!! P.S:The format isn´t originally my idea, svelte corps did it in this thread. Edited October 15, 2008 by Dennimator Quote
Skinny Boy Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Very nice work you got here. When I saw the first pic, I thought the slanted plates were leading underground. Now that would be an agents base. Still, a nice way of actually having a base, instead of a truck Quote
Guss Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 such a nice base, full of details, I love the projector , great job ! Quote
LegoFranks Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 but I recently got the Agents truck incredibly cheap, Well, if you got it really cheap, couldn't you go back and get another one for same price and use those pieces to build the living quarters, etc? M. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Nice job creating a grounded base. I esp. like the interior details. Is that lighting mechanism for the projector part of the actual set or a light that you added? Quote

I can´t do that, because the one that I bought were the last one. But it was really cheap, 270 SEK (around 25 EUR) intead of 899:-. I was lucky. Nice job creating a grounded base. I esp. like the interior details. Is that lighting mechanism for the projector part of the actual set or a light that you added? No, the lighting brick is included in the Agents Mobile Command Center (Mission 6, the big truck). Quote
Zorro Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I think your Agents Base MOC worked out just fine. I would have made it larger with a (as already proposed) vehicle bay and a helicopter landing site or something. You get a big from me anyway...please make more Agents MOCs, there are just so few (good ones) on this Forum now. Quote
MoWo Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Love it!! Great things and weapon rack!! Hope there is more to come!! Undersigned MoWo Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Swet man! Although I thought when I saw the first picture that it went underground and I pictured a HUGE cavernous place with labs, hangars etc. I like the projector. And the guy complaining about having to fix the building reguarly. So my apologies for reading it go to him, but I think it was woth his suffering for me to see this great base. (Two thumbs up!) Thanks! I won´t make more Agents MOCs for a while, right now I´m building a hospital which will take some time and BL orders, but when I get the time and money to order the dark blue pieces, I´ll show the base upgrade here on EB. Love it!! Great things and weapon rack!! Hope there is more to come!! Undersigned MoWo Unfortunatly not in a while, see first quote. Swet man! Thanks!! It would be really cool with an underground base. I´ve actually thought of that too. I´ve even made scetches of how I want it to look like, but I don´t have FAR so many rock pieces that I should need, and a BL order would be far to expensive, so I laid the plans on ice and built this instead. Skorpius47 Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I don't really like this, I'm sorry. It looks like you just cut out the floor from the Mobile Command Center and pasted it onto some baseplates. I know bases are difficult to design, especially with a color scheme using Earth Blue. If you'd like some ideas, you're free to PM me. Quote
DarthPineapple Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 The base itself looks okay, I like all the stuff you put in. Quote

Dennimator Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 dont u get the brickmaster magzine Yes I do, but the Swedish one aren´t the same and doesn´t include instructions, I noticed that when I was on a trip in Hamburg (Germany) and, when I went to the LEGOstore, randomly looked in the German one, which had alternative instructions for the cargo copter that my Swedish magazine didn´t have. So that´s why I doesn´t knw about these instructions. Quote
