Goedendag

The dwarves' mine defender stays an interesting vehicle: I've modded it once, but still i wasnt happy with the catapult thingy. So i gave it a complete make over! I got some good inspiration from sinner's mobile still, thanks

I never learnt my English lessons... so for the Dutch one I never had.. it'll be hard to go back to these :P

I might buy the set just to build this!

Definitely good work! I like the looks of it and well, as I hate that catapult piece, it is a certain upgrade of the minedefender 1.0. The increased number of blades also makes it look less flimsy and thus more likely for a troll to not find its way between those blades unharmed/missing only a few limbs.

Only problem now is that when doing a new MOC, you keep meeting that dreaded catapultpiece again in your sortingsystem. I prefer to have them in my display cabinet out of view behind some castle wall or something.

 Looks great, I have a mine defender but might just buy another one to do something similair to this to it, It really fits the dwarfes, being advanced tecnologically and all, so well done, well done!!

Thanks for all the kind comments, guys!

Yea, i have some others laying around, and it's quite usefull in a catapult MOC where i'm working on. It looks a bit like this catapult.

Wow! This looks really good!

Can we have instructions or building photos?

It isnt that hard to copy, except the canon. If u want i'll make some fotos of the canon design

Nice use of the washtubs as the base of the cannon. A very fun looking MOC if I might say so.

Hehe, this looks very fun! I'm loving the steampunk vibe coming from it, with the cap the dwarf has and all.

Two of the front blades are in the opposite way of the other three, so even though it looks nice, that wouldn't work in real-life - the blades wouldn't spin but probably jam the whole system. And here I am again talking like I'm some engineer or something. :hmpf:

Yeah i know, but it just looked so nice! I'm more for the looks of a MOC, not if it would actually work or not.

But maybe if an orc is stuck in the blades, and the driver has to turn the blades the other way? Then those two opposite ones are useful!

I like this steampunk design! It's a great re-design of the Dwarf Mine Defender. The cannon is terrific, and it will defintely blow the orcs up sky high. Thanks for showing us on how you design the cannon. I wanted to ask that question earlier too.
