Anyone heard of this before?

I was searching through play.com when I came across this and downloaded a Demo. It was awesome! I defeated the Austrians in Hanover hands down but when I was fighting in Cyrenaica I lost badly with only 30 men taking cover in a House with over 100 Austrain Ground troops, 30 Calvalry and Artillery bombarding it. I had to retreat...

I HAVE IT, its a bit like Hearts of Iron/europe universalis, but easier to control and manage!

It is a cool game and I used to play it A LOT !!

I HAVE IT, its a bit like Hearts of Iron/europe universalis, but easier to control and manage!

It is a cool game and I used to play it A LOT !!

I will take notice of it, I am still new to this forum (less then 2 weeks) and I did not know all those functions yet.

Your post is a reason to learn it and while posting this, I actually have learned how to use the functions it had to offer.

Have it too! fantastic game! very addicting and excellent graphics! Has anyone else heard of the new Total War game entitled "Empire Total War"? it takes place during the 18th century, apparently is the first in the series to have naval combat!

Might be screen shots, but with really, really good physics engines/graphics card.

I just played the demo and it's quite fun.

I'm finding the Battle of Cyrenaica extremely annoying, because, no matter HOW strong I set my defenses, infantry walk right through my line and instantly kill the howitzer crews. Of course, they got their own cannons, which I can't get near because they have puppy guard Cavalry units protecting it, rendering any attack on those batteries useless. If my guys are in a Square, Cavalry don't attack; the second I go into a line of battle, they go start charging. Controlling the houses provided there didn't help, considering that the Cavalry units just up and walked right into it, killing all the guys in there, without any hope of escape.

I bought a copy off TradeMe, but unfortunately the game didn't work. The seller was nice enough to give us our money back though.

Nevertheless, the game looks very good, although it's rather disappointing that there is no morale system included and that the faction unit rosters are practically the same : Personally, I will wait for Empire Total War, as it is only 5 or so months away...

By looking at them, I'd say that the first one is art, but the second one is from the actual game.

I just beat the Battle of Cyrenaica. Taking the highest ground there was a smart tactical move. I was able to fire my cannons on their infantry way before they got near me. Granted their cavalry, but of course, went straight to the cannons to destroy them. This is a really fun game, and if I had the chance, I'd get it.

I just had another go at that. I did what you said and only had to ruin 1 more Cannon and Calvalry but the Horses got my Cannons and Men...

Did you have your infantry completely surround your batteries? (except for the back, which the mountains take care of that.) Try to intercept their cavalry before they get a chance to destroy your cannons

And they are fast and have a good price/quality. But most infantry units have even better price/quality nonenthless...

This is the correct forum if its a Pirate Forum, there has been some Threads about Voyage Century and lots of others.

I hate Dragoons because they attack your Artillery...You would proberbly need alot to break through the Infantry and get to Artillery.
