Aaron Morse Posted August 30, 2008 Hi there! My boys recently really got into Indiana Jones Lego, and playing with the boys got my creative juices flowing. My youngest has really been getting into WW2 history too and he wanted to know why the convoy protecting the Ark didnt have any tanks...and Volia! http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/70985
JopieK Posted August 30, 2008 I like the tanks but also the environment, those weeds as scale trees and bushes ;)

Aaron Morse Posted August 30, 2008 (edited) Right down the street from our house there's a lot of construction. There was a small creek that got cut off and dried up and I think some white paint that leaked into the creek. Anyways yeah we thought it would be a great spot to snap some war pics. We're looking at ordering some more tracks and build some T-34's to tangle with. here's the brickshelf link for more pics http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=339832 Edited August 30, 2008 by Aaron Morse
JimBee Posted August 30, 2008 Good work, Aaron. I like the tanks a lot, good use of the A-Wing pilots. Also, good choice of scenery.

Sir Dillon Posted August 31, 2008 Great job with your convoy! The scenery choice is neat too. Indiana Jones creations should actually go in the Licensed section though. I'll move it there for you.
Brick n Brick Posted August 31, 2008 I didn't notice this before, but is the last truck custom made? If not, which set is it from?
Lt. Col. Thok Posted August 31, 2008 Very nicely done; your boys have picked the best kind of toy. Nice work on the tanks!
Aaron Morse Posted September 1, 2008 (edited) I didn't notice this before, but is the last truck custom made? If not, which set is it from? [/quote We had ordered the Indiana Jones kit thru BrickLink and my youngest one was going nuts with anticipation...so looking at the pics on line I made a reasonably close copy. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/morsea10/Stug3/convoy4.jpg Edited September 1, 2008 by Aaron Morse
Brick n Brick Posted September 1, 2008 Oh, cool. As I'm starting to make a battlefield scene, I just made a custom one as well. As you said, it really got my creative juices going.
Aaron Morse Posted September 1, 2008 (edited) Just finished a Greif Halftrack to add to the mix too. JimBee Posted September 1, 2008 Nice work again, Aaron. I actually like the multicolored chains, the black could be replacement ones or something.
