Shadows Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 I'm trying to wrap up a few little projects here before embarking on something new and different, and in doing so, I thought I'd put these out there for your potential enjoyment. Basically, they were the intent of my whole halter experiment, but ended up done after those and the bikers. Life can be funny sometimes. So blah blah blah, I'll talk some more and you look at these instead. The first two are female. The button placement and width of the body differentiate the similar male and female decals and the other one is just obvious. If it isn't, just ask and we'll explain the difference in detail. Better yet, don't. Then the men. There you have it, some mix and match for your pirate or colonial uses. All of the colours are easily changed, if you want something different, but the black vest always ended up looking the best to me. Comments, glowing praise, scathing criticism, it's all the same to me, it just helps me judge my efforts and make adjustments, so most of all, be honest. Thanks for looking! Quote
Sir Dano Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 (edited) Very nice. That second one reminds me of something... Edited May 2, 2008 by sir dano Quote

Alice Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 She was pretty . I did the decal for me because I was up for a challenge. She is my first fully completed decal that I am happy with . I mean you can think of it as a present from me to you if you want (I am a saint afterall) , but the picture you posted was just an inspiration. I've been kicking around some ideas for a torso like that for a while. I may edit it soon and make something completely different out of it. Quote
Sir Dano Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 the picture you posted was just an inspiration. Well, if you need more inspiration, feel free to browse my flickr. Quote
Asuka Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 That´s a wonderful work too, Alice, especially the belly buttoned one looks quite natural. Quote
zero1312 Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 These are beautiful!! LEGO should use something like that for the next pirate line, whenever that time comes. Quote
Derek Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 Very nice. That second one reminds me of something... Lol, who draws things like that? I mean its a nice drawing, don't get me wrong, but that's sooo dorky! But something about those torsos makes them soo realistic. VERY nice work here. Dp8 Quote
