SirNadroj Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Hi! Let me start out by saying, this could possibly be a spoiler. I don't think it is, since it isn't a crucially important part of the movie, but just in case. ;-) So here's yet another Sweeney Todd MOC. This is a vignette portraying Pirelli's confrontation of Todd. Todd, angry, hits Pirelli with a teapot. I made the teapot using a minifig head, arm, 1x1 round plate, and some E600 (since I figured I had a custom torso, why not a custom teapot? ;-) ) You can see the blood flying through the air. That was the main feature I wanted to focus on. I couldn't think of any good, small pieces to use, so I went with red horns, and some more E600 (glue). I little gory, I'd say, but there are worse MOCs out there I'm sure. :-D The wall is very plain, so I added the boiler/stove. Tea Kettle! Thanks for checking this out! Comments/questions/suggestions are welcomed! :-) (And the Pirelli torso is by Norrington.) EDIT: I forgot that I sketched that scene and stuck it in my signatue (Chibi Style) :-) Quote
Scouty Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Great stuff (Not having seen the movie though!!). But where is that hair piece from? Quote

SirNadroj Posted January 14, 2008 Author Posted January 14, 2008 (edited) Custom from Brickforge :-).-Chuck No, it's custom from Arealight: http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=areal...&itemID=6924284 @IS: Thanks for the feedback! :-) Edited January 14, 2008 by SirNadroj Quote
Starwars4J Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 It looks nice, but while I'm a fan of custom figures and accessories, something just seems out of place in a MOC to me. I'd much rather see some creative use of parts in order to get the same effect, otherwise why need studs at all? ;-) Quote
Scouty Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 No, it's custom from Arealight: http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=areal...&itemID=6924284@IS: Thanks for the feedback! :-) Oh, cool! To further coment: It's a nice, nearly studless creation (except for the top and teapot, but the teapot looks great nonetheless!!) From what I can see of the boiler, it looks good, but what did you use for the tubing? A tube? Your Sweeney Todd figure and "Adolf Pirelli" figures look great (still can't comment much since not have seen the film, I should see the film before I comment further X-D !). Can't say I'm to happy with the glue, but it does allow for some great support for the blood! Quote
MagPiesRUs Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Once again, great work *y* The ledge looks nice, as does the stove (?). Pirelli looks great (although I havn't seen the movie) and the teapot is nice too. The blending of bley and grey often doesn't work, but it looks pretty good in this MOC, it makes the wall look weathered. *y* *y* Quote
maiq the liar Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 (edited) I'm going to see the movie at 10:00! (My time zone) I already knew about that because i have the book :0 Was good, but i didn't get any overpriced watery soda or a tiny box of bunchacrunch >:-( Edited January 20, 2008 by maiq the liar Quote
