MagPiesRUs Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Well, I enlarged the fighting space of my original vig, and added a chariot, and elephant and a few more gladiators to create some colosseum chaos. Here it is: Sorry about the pic quality, I'll see if I can get some better pics up tommorow. Enjoy! *sweet* Quote
Hinckley Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Again, excellent. That chariot is simple brilliance. I love it. Great action shots too. You have excellent photography skills. You tell a really good story. Nice work altogether. Every consider making a whole ampitheater? I bet it'd be incredible... *sweet* Quote

Thanks :-) I don't have any large tan base plates though, so just imagine the track is from the chariot :-P Again, excellent. That chariot is simple brilliance. I love it. Great action shots too. I bet it'd be incredible... *sweet* Thanks *sweet* I don't have nearly enough tan pieces or money to be able to do that though :-( How about a miniscale version? X-D :-P Edited January 14, 2008 by TinyPiesRUs Quote

WesternOutlaw Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Very creative use of the Bandit's Hideout baseplate. Really nice. I like that you added an elephant. Also, I think that's the first chariot I've ever seen in Lego (other than something I built when I was a kid and had just seen Ben Hur). Great design! Quote
Batbrick Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 (edited) It's beautiful. :'-) And you made it just for me. I'm honoured. I like how the lion is biting the man's head off... X-D Really? I thought, no wait, I've looked closer, you're right, he's definitely biting his head off :-$ X-D Anyhoo, great expansion here TinyPiesRUs, with a brilliant use of the Bandit's Hideout baseplate! *y* That chariot is pure genius, simple yet perfect *wub* Great photography and action shots too. I love wolves *sing* ;-) :-D :-D :-D :-D It's beautiful. :'-) And you made it just for me. I'm honoured. I like how the lion is biting the man's head off... X-D You really have good eyes, don't you? Shadows Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Commented on the other thread, of course, but this looks especially good in action! Love the chariot, especially the small details like actually attaching the horses together, and doing it in a tile of matching colour to the hitching. That just makes it perfect. *y* Great use for an elephant. I never have figured out what to do with them, but this makes a great use. Only thing is, would gold teeth be considered an anachronism here? I love the faces though, and it's probably not noticable at all except in these closeups. Speaking of which... I like how the lion is biting the man's head off... X-D Yeah, but did you notice that he's wearing a wristwatch? 8- Quote
SirNadroj Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Wow, really, really, really nice! Beautiful use of that old western plate too! Well executed (pun intended :-D ) Quote
Athos Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Looks good, but there needs to be more of the ampitheatre. Steve Quote
