jonwil Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Does anyone know of a way to take a model built in LDD or ldraw and convert it to a .fbx file or a .obj file or some other similar common 3D format? Quote
legolijntje Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 You can use LDview to export LDraw models to .stl or .obj. You can also use Mecabricks to import a LDD file (hopefully there will be an LDraw import too in the future) and export as a .stl, .obj or .dae file. Hope that helps a bit Quote
Tommy Styrvoky Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 There's also a Blender plugin, you could import the ldraw model to Blender, and export it in the file type you want. https://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Extensions:2.6/Py/Scripts/Import-Export/LDRAW_Importer Quote
