Mike S Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Location: F10 Tags: Land Vehicle, Plane, Exploring When Mister S contacted Kawashita Command about being shadowed by Mantis, he was instructed to report to Arium Major. Mister S: Arium Major? Isn't that an Octan owned planet? Kawashita Command: Yes it is. However Octan presence is highly concentrated on the land masses at the poles. We have set up mobile bases in the central ocean. Mister S: And what am I supposed to do there? Kawashita Command: You will be briefed when you arrive. Mister S: As long as I am not debriefed like a certain CEO I have heard of.... hahaha So Mister S and Kara traveled to Arium Major. When they arrived at one of the mobile sea bases on Arium Major, they were shown to a hangar and given coordinates of an uncharted area of Arium Major's sea to explore with a seabed mapping device. Mister S: An Icon Dragonfly M8? Isn't that M.A.N.T.I.S. tech? Whats going on here? Transporter: Indeed it is. It doesn't matter whose tech it is as long as it works. And the Dragonfly M8 is just the right vehicle for your mission. Mister S and Kara got into the seaplane and started it up. It was not long until they were in the air flying among the clouds above the sea of Arium Major. Quote
Isundir Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 The Dragonfly is a sweet looking plane and appropriately named, I also like the hangar those are a lot of hinges and panels... Quote
Graham Gidman Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I love the cockpit on that dragonfly and the hanger is pretty neat. Well done! Quote
EpsilonEta Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I'm sorry, but (as much as a would like to) I can't alow the exploration tag. There exist no alien wildlife at all (not even a fish or water for that matter) You get the aircraft tag even if you caled it "Plane" (to bad it doesen't give us anything) Quote
mediumsnowman Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) That's a lot of 1x2x5 panels. Great build! Edited January 24, 2016 by mediumsnowman Quote
StarHawk3 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 The Dragonfly is great. I like how you used the canopy pieces. That hanger is pretty impressive too. Quote
Kai NRG Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 That hangar is just fantastic! Both vehicles look really good too - I especially like the dashes of yellow on the seaplane! Quote
SpacerSteve Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Mister S using MANTIS tech. Who would have thought. I'm interested to hear the back story on that. Really cool hanger. How did you keep the arch from collapsing? I like the shaping of the wings on the dragonfly. Quote

That hanger is pretty impressive too. Thank you all! That hangar is just fantastic! Both vehicles look really good too - I especially like the dashes of yellow on the seaplane! Thanks! The Dragonfly is actually the seaplane. The other vehicle is just a utility boat for towing and transporting... I absolutely love the Dragonfly! Thanks! Mister S using MANTIS tech. Who would have thought. I'm interested to hear the back story on that. Really cool hanger. How did you keep the arch from collapsing? I like the shaping of the wings on the dragonfly. Well, Mister S is a lot closer to MANYIS than he realizes. It isn't cooincidence that MANTIS keeps showing up around him... but more will be revealed if I find the time to build more of his story. The arch is fairly stiff but the "dock" floor which spans the entire width of the hangar in the rear keeps it stable enough for moving around. Quote
