sm 01 Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Hello everyone, I was looking for a way to make a smaller scale rc model and then I remembered the “electric motor with steering mechanism and receiving unit” ( http://alpha.brickli...lor=86#T=C&C=86 ), which LEGO made back in 2009. For those of you who havn't already seen it... This is my first experiment with it: More photos: https://www.flickr.c...157659388973900 I hope you like it Quote
JopieK Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Great job sm 01, how did you manage to hide al those PF parts in the Fire truck. Quote
zux Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Saw it on Flickr couple of days ago, very nice idea to use that base! Great job sm 01, how did you manage to hide al those PF parts in the Fire truck. That's the trick, there are no PF parts here - it uses this base compatible with PF. Quote
JopieK Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Very nice toy, but that sticker Haha, but there are people that can help with that of course :p That's the trick, there are no PF parts here - it uses this base compatible with PF. Great solution!!! Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Interesting little contraption. I didn't know that this RC-part even existed... Quote
Awaken_M1nd Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Interesting constrution. Great model. Quote
sm 01 Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 Thank you guys very much for your comments! Very nice toy, but that sticker Originally, only a grey part of that engine base was visible behind the engine cover and it didn't look very interesting... I was really curious how people will react. Great job sm 01, how did you manage to hide al those PF parts in the Fire truck. Like zux said, that "base" made it possible. It turned out to be very usefull for this scale. Quote
sm 01 Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 I used the same platform for another version of T1: More photos: http://www.flickr.co...157658994478324 I hope you like it Quote
