Good evening everybody!

It’s a high-mobility truck with the typical body of rally assistance trucks.

With wide opening side panels and a workshop on the right hand side …

... and enough place for spare parts and anything else you need in the outback ;-)

I used the 2x4 tiles on the side panel because of stability reasons. The colours themselvs shall symbolize the usually colourful advertisements on rally trucks on the one hand, and on the other hand they are a tribute to the colourful toy LEGO!

While the drivers rest and enjoy a cool drink the mechanics started to repair the damages of the day.

nice vehicles, i really like thems and the suspension is the best thing of thems, have you tried to use rubber parts to have a fully working suspension?

Thanks to all for comments!

I like trucks and I like mobile, self-sustaining vehicles and units - like this "mobile workshop" ;-)

@ Imanolbb: No, I haven't tested rubber elements. My main goal was just to build a chassis which is able to ride over the most rough terrain in my children's room ;-)

Kind regards

well, you have made a nice work doing that, i hope that the people in lego town start to make more functional vehicles, with suspension, and vehicles like this model are exactly what i want, keep making those amzing trucks.

And how to construct suspension? My son built here is a vehicle with swinging pieces of Lego. Such details have not.

amazing vehicle, i also made some topics of my suspension ideas for town vehicles, sadly, looks like almost no one likes the vehicles, http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=113954&hl=%2Bmercedes+%2Bbenz and http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=113367&hl=roading , and in case you want the instructions of some of them: http://ldd.us.lego.com/en-us/gallery?memberid=imanolberecibar

Hello ImanolBB!

Yes, I miss this kind of Vehicles in the portfolio of TLC – so I’ve to build them by myself and I’m sure to continue ;-)

It’s not my scale (I just build 6-wide cabs) but your trucks look really GOOD on LDD!

Have you built some of them? If yes, please post photos.

Kind regards

Hello Nemo57!

I like this parts your son used for the axles of the vehicle on your photo.

I used this spring wheels holder (BL name – it took me a while to find it) for the buggy and the blue van of the rally team.

I’ll post some photos of the suspension – hopefully I find some time in the evening.

Kind regards

Mario

@ TheBear, sens1992

Thanks for idea with set, but I think people who like this kind of sets are the minority :-(

Thank you. Now it is clear. It is reliably done. And the common parts. We will definitely use.

Your car should definitely put in Lego ideas. They have a set format. A gaming moments and ideas much more.
