Eureka,my research has proven successful!

Having finally been able to get out from under Dr. Long, I was able to secure my own research vessel, which I have christened the O.C.S. Sui Juris

I used it to take me to the hellish planet of Yetornius to test a hypothesis which I derived from studying some of Octan's collected Awesomnium.

You see, though Awesomnium is a precious metal typically found in the solid form, I theorized that like other metals found elsewhere, it could be transformed into another state using extreme heat.

Once the engineers equipped my new ship with the necessary tools and instruments, I instructed my pilot to fly me close to the surface to get readings.

While the reckless flight crew seems to have taken my instructions to mean endangering everyone on board, I none the less was able to get a great sample.

After filtering the air particles, I discovered tiny drops of Awesomnium liquid which had evaporated into the thin atmosphere!

While it is too meager of an amount to effectively harvest for sale, this new advancement in understanding of this metal will no doubt help shape the future of the galaxy.

It is a great day for science!

You will have to excuse the quality of the images, the local flares interfere with my transmissions...

Agreed! O.C.S. Sui Juris is excellent! It has a wonderful utilitarian feel and is reminiscent of Star Trek ships! I love that you put both micro and normal scale builds into the one! It really elevates the build! Lovely lava and sciencey stuff going on! You are indeed stepping out of Dr. Long's shadow!

LOL, I love the double MOC! The microbuild is fantastic! Great lava and the scene is so dynamic with the Sui Juris tilting to avoid the lava geysers! The lab is also great, being efficiently and cleanly put together.
