Another entry to the CCC, this time my 7th, the category was "Castle Siege".

In the year 1453 the city of Constantinople was attacked by Ottoman forces. They used huge cannons, constructed by their engineer Urban. The byzantinian defenders had no chance against the overwhelming army and the blackpowder weapons.

Fantastic colours! Another very original and interesting MOC - I learned something new from it! I don't think you'll need it, but - good luck!

The scenes is great overall. Nice cannon & smoke from the barrel, I like the slightly curved wall, and like everyone else I have to say that the explosion is captured beautifully (with very NPU of those tan bushes)! :sweet: The colors and detail on the wall are very nice as well.

The way you did that explosion is incredible, and I'm probably going to use your method if I need to create an explosion. Hope that's taken as the highest of praise!

Incredilbe! You deserve all features for your MOC because the historic fact is very important and the buildings techniques are awesome. Congrats!

Amazing work, Disco :classic:

Especially the explosion is incredible - i absolutely love the technique you used. Furthermore the colour choice is fantastic, too.

Good luck for the contest!

Always good to teach something with a MOC  But if you are looking at the other contestant's entries, I gonna need luck... :cry_sad:

I have seen this once before, so feel free to builds this again. I think it was a WW2 build where I saw it, but couldn't remember...
