Disco86 Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Another entry to the CCC, this time my 7th, the category was "Castle Siege". In the year 1453 the city of Constantinople was attacked by Ottoman forces. They used huge cannons, constructed by their engineer Urban. The byzantinian defenders had no chance against the overwhelming army and the blackpowder weapons. Thanks for your comments ! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Terrific! The explosion of the wall is great. Interesting use of those bushes. Very well done! Quote

MontyPython Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 (edited) Fantastic colours! Another very original and interesting MOC - I learned something new from it! I don't think you'll need it, but - good luck! Edited December 29, 2014 by MontyPython Quote
deraven Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 The scenes is great overall. Nice cannon & smoke from the barrel, I like the slightly curved wall, and like everyone else I have to say that the explosion is captured beautifully (with very NPU of those tan bushes)! The colors and detail on the wall are very nice as well. Quote
mpoh98 Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Excellent work Disco, the cannon shot and explosion is perfect! Great sense of motion as well! Quote
InvincibleEagle Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 The smoke and explosion really make this model come to life. Quote

ElCrab Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 The way you did that explosion is incredible, and I'm probably going to use your method if I need to create an explosion. Hope that's taken as the highest of praise! Quote
