The Hoth Rescue sounds great, it's been on my long term wanted list and I'm glad lego decided to make it.

I was hoping the MTT would have came with some pilot droids but if the set looks good then I wouldn't mind.

The Rebel Blockade Runner sounds fantastic, especially now that it's coming with some long awaited rebel

soldiers.*sweet*

I've been wanting a Hoth set for years. Great news! Can't wait to see this and the Rebel Blockade Runner. Should be a great SW year.

PS. I wonder if the Hoth set will look anything like this (maybe the tauntaun)?

I sure hope a Death Star playset (like the Batman Batcave) shows up sometime in 2007. Even if was only a S@H exclusive at first (like the Sandcrawler) I would be happy.

No, I wish I could say it was. This is far beyond my ability. This popped up sometime last year. I remembered it and searched Brickshelf. I think the tauntauns are excellent.

Unfortunately, it looks like Chiukeung has posted on FBTB that his message over here was a fake. Not sure what to make of all this as Chiukeung has been reliable in the past. Maybe Sam can confirm some of these for us.

Dear all,

My feeling is very bad, i'm serious!!!

someone pretend to be me (include my writing style) and posted the rumor information in Eurobricks,

I want to clarify that i had not recevied any information about the second batchs of 2007 SW sets and i have no idea what thoses sets are!!

Therefore, all the rumor may be faked.

Unfortunately, the set list is fake. 7660-7662 are still real, but the others aren't. Apparently there will be a Hoth Base set though!

Would it be possible to edit the frontpage news with the real deals then ? That's still great news ! :-)

In a way the news that these sets are fake is a releif. 2007 will already be steep for me with the return of Castle in a promising way. Would totally buy a hoth set with tauntauns though, so we shall see.... Rebel figs. I agree this would be great. No doubt LEGO knows the community wants sets like the fake ones listed. Still a few years to go :-)

Not this year, please! Agreed this would be a fun set with stormtroopers and all, but as I mentioned above there is already too much great stuff to buy this year. Undoubtedly we will see great things from LEGO in the next few years. The battle packs strongly indicate that IMHO ;-)

Here's a bit of news from Bricklink to cheer everyone up (let's hope it's true this time!):

What is your source? Only ask because I have the official dealer cataloug from

LEGO and what it shows and what I have already placed orders for is:

7660 Naboo Fighter, redesign of the old set and include a redesign of 7111 too.

Comes with two figs.

7661 Jedi Starfighter with Hyperring, correct it is blue/dark blue, comes with

Obi-Wan and a Kit Fisto fig (quit cool).

7662 Trade Federation MTT, redesign, much bigger and does actually comes with 16

battle droids, 2 security battle droids, 2 pilot battle droids and a redesigned

destroyer droid.

http://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=177730

Now that's good news!
