[Adam]

Approx. 4 minutes before the crash...

Adam glanced around - he'd given pr0visorak the slip. Adam let out a sigh of relief and collapsed into a seat next to a clone engineer, who had taken his helmet off and was frowning deeply. "What's wrong?" Adam asked, his spine shooting straight. "Well, buckle you're seat belt - it's going to be a bumpy ride," the clone responded fiddling rapidly with the controls. Distant yells forced their way into the engine room.

"... almost exact -"

The rest of the dialogue was lost as a massive explosion consumed a quarter of the room. Adam and the clone crashed through the controls and smacked into the wall, along with another clone engineer and a gunner. Adam lifted the first engineer off of him and shook his head, making to wipe the blood off his forehead but only making it bloodier by using his right arm, which had taken almost the full force of the crash. Adam winced with pain. "I'll live," he said to himself as he and the gunner heaved the two engineers off their shoulders and to the Med. Bay. Upon entering the found Rex surveying a mass of broken droid parts with dismay. He looked up at them and said, "All of the droids are broken, and meanwhile, JD's halfway through a door and the must be many more injuries, no doubt!" Rex reported the bad news back to Jim and began helping Adam and the gunner lay the clones on the nearest beds they could find, which were in Bob's room. Oddly enough, he wasn't there. Adam ran back to the engine room and saw Bob and some other clones collapsed on the floor, hiddn by a large control panel. He went back to get help, closing the faulty door behind him. When he, Rex, and the gunner got back, they saw Bob and a Captain trudging off to the bridge. The three followed in silence.

[JimBee]

"Gah! How did we get into this mess?!" said Jim, annoyed. "Well, we're here. Maybe not in one piece, but here. We'd better check on the others, and make sure everyone is alive."

He stepped towards the door. As soon as he did, the ship shifted and creaked.

"Stop!" warned Oky Wan. "The ship is unstable... we must be balancing on the ravine. ANy movement might cause the ship to fall in...".

Everyone's faces turned pale.

"We have to get out of here, before the ship falls by itself." said Jim. "Oky Wan, carry JD to the door, very slowly. Slide your feet. I'll go warn everyone else". Jim slid out of the room.

[Adam]

Rex, Adam, and the gunner (a clone named Geoff) had met up with Bob and the captain, and they opened the door to the bridge to Oky Wan carefully walking to the exit with JD in his arms, Jim tip-toeing to them, and the others standing stock still with odd expressions on their faces. "What-?" Adam began, but Jim had already started explaining. "We're propped up on the edge of a ravine, and any movement whatsoever could cause our literal downfall. Make any sudden movement and we're all dead," he finished dramatically. Only Bob and Adam had the sense to slowly back away from the door so that Jim could pass; Rex, the captain and Geoff were all standing as if frozen in the doorway. Jim shoved carefully past them and headed on to other parts of the ship. Adam, Bob, and Rex went off to help while Geoff and the captain went to help Oky with JD.

[pr0visorak]

pr0 waoke up in a daze...

pr0:"Oof! What happened?"

pr0 surveyed the room he noticed that none of his friends were there.

pr0:"Jim! Oky! Adam!"

There was no response and all that filled the air was the sound of his echos.pr0 surveyed the room one last time and got up on his feet.

pr0:"Seems I am in the ship all right but which part of it?"

Back in the Bridge...

Jim:"Everyone out!"

Oky:"We need to make sure everyone is here!"

Jim:"There is no time! Get out with JD now!"

The group ran towards the exit unaware that one of them was missing.

Bob:"Jim! If you can hear me......We ar...e.....clear....of..sh...ip...meet...out...side."

Jim got the message but it was good enough. They headed towards the exit as fast as they could.

Back to pr0...

pr0:"There has gotta be another way out!"

He ignited his lightsaber and slowly cut a hole in the wall. Soon the hole was made and he looked out of it.

pr0:"Well, looks like I am out of the ship but there is now way out!"

Suddenly the ship started tilting and before pr0 knew it the ship was falling out of the mountain and falling in mid air towards the ground. pr0 struggled to move but the current was too strong for him to move, he clinged on to a pole and awaited his doom.

[Lt. Col. Thok]

Better late than never...

Thok had burst out of the exit, following his teammates. He had arrived on the bridge the second time JD spoke of the future. Following, he spoke to JD Thok: "Soldier, back there you mentioned Commander Skywalker."

JD: *confused* "I did? I can't seem to remember..."

Thok: "Son" *leans in close* "between you and me, we need to discuss something I've been feeling about these jedi, especially Commander Skywalker - I do believe that you may be able to confirm my suspicions..."

pr0's quick thinking allowed him to escape death. He sliced his way through the wall into the main corridor and ran to the cockpit. After flicking some switches and using JDs amplificatons to reverse boost, the Fortitude stopped before it hit the ground. pr0 regained control and made his way back to the ridge of the ravine. The gang were waiting for the explosion just as the ship came back into view. Everyone sighed with relief. Then there was a rustle in the bushes.

Oky: Did you hear that?

Jim: What? *rustle*

Oky: THAT!!!!

JD was saved from being forced to tell Thok the truth after hearing Oky.

JD: Have you guys ever seen the old classic, were the monsters come out of the long grass and eat everyone one by one....?

*Scared silence*

Jim: Get inside! NOW!!!!

Everyone ran toward the ridge, waving at pr0. Oblivious to the trouble the gang were in, pr0 waved back with a smile.

Thok: He thinks we're saying 'hi'!

JD: Pass me that blaster plastic boy!

JD snatched the blaster from Bob's captain and shot at the cockpit. pr0 realised they were in trouble and turned the ship around so they could get in. There was a gap of three metres between the open door and the cliff face. Jim ran forward and leapt into the ship.

Jim: Come on!

Oky and the others managed to jump across just as the enemy was revealed. However, JD, Bob's captain and Thok were left behind. The three turned to see the monsters. They were about two metres tall, four legs and two arms with huge teeth. Thok shot one dead, but JD was grabbed by another and taken into the forest. The Captain tried to follow JD, but was also picked up by one of the monsters. Thok aimed and fired, hitting the beast between its eyes. It was no use though, as more came. The others were forced to watch as Thok and the captain were taken into the forest as well.

OKy: pr0! Upload scanners! There!

There were three red blobs on the map, moving rapidly.

Oky: Thats them!

Bob: Lets follow them!

[Lt. Col. Thok]

Thok tried beating one of the monsters with his rifle, but it was no use. The thing just ran and ignored him. Soon, the monster reached a clearing, wher Thok was uncerimoniously thrown down. After rolling a few meters, he came to a stop and listened. He catiously got up, setting his equipment up for a quick diagnostic to see if anything was damaged. Nothing was. He turned. The monsters that had taken JD, the Captain and him were gone. The Captain was a few meters from Thok.

Thok: "Soldier, how are you?"

Captain: *groan* "Bruised and bloodied, sir. You?"

Thok: "I'm good. According to the equipment, the package is, too."

Captain: "Good...Command would fillet us if it wasn't, right sir?

Thok: "Indeed. Damn those monsters." *bends down and helps Captain up* "Almost asked the future-trooper about...well, you know what I think about Skywalker."

Captain: "I can't see why sir..."

[-JD-]

JD had been taken to the monster's cave. They seemed to be hungry. JD looked around and saw Clone armour and skeletons, some of which where from a species he had never seen. The monsters left the cave, presumably to look for Thok and the Captain. JD got up and walked to the entrance of the cave. He could see for miles. Nothing much to see though except trees and the suns setting. Then he saw a clearing with two figures standing in the middle. He could see the monsters tracks. They were going to attack....at nightfall. JD decided to help them out, but first he would try to reach Oky and the others via com.

JD: *into comlink* Dauntless come in. This is Watchtower. I am in a cave 100ft from the ground. Look for a cliff face looking directly at the suns. I'll be there. Attempting to escape before they return. Thok in need of assistance. Watchtower out.

JD stared at the suns, wondering if they would be the last beautiful thing he would see, then he started to ascend the cliff. If he could reach the top, he would have a vantage point. Meanwhile, Oky picked up a scattered transmission from JD.

Com: -s Watchtower---cave 100ft from- directly --the suns-- be there. Attempting ---they return. Thok in nee-- assistance. Watchto-- out.

Oky: Clone...sorry. What's your name?

Clone Engineer: I'm Sparks sir.

Oky: Right then, Sparks, try to get that transmission cleared up.

Sparks: Yes sir, right away!

Oky: I'll be in the conference room.

{Hyperspace...}

"We're here R3, prepare to exit hyperspace." R3 whistled in conformation and the space reverted to normal.

Garviel suddenly barrel rolled his fighter to avoid a collision with a fighter. "what the...?" he mumbled to himself as he looked out of the cockpit. Separatist and mercenaries fleets had engaged each other over Trexxon. Coming to his senses he called to his droid "R3, raise the shields, we have to get down there.

Loken flew downwards to the planet, assisting the mercenary forces whether he could, the fighter's cannons vaporising Droid fighters, he narrowly avoided being vaped himself, as he flew between two cruisers. After several minutes of flying he entered the atmosphere of Trexxon and found the spaceport of Dephroon.

[Lt. Col. Thok]

Thok: "You know why, Captain. The Commander's a loose cannon - no discipline, all moves."

Captain: "Well, sir, I - Wait, incoming transmission...."

Thok: *Into commlink* "Oky? Could you come and pick us up?"

Oky: "kay, we'll be there in roughly 20 minutes. JD is a few miles ahead."

Thok: "Good" *ends transmission* "The future-trooper is as few miles north of us. Let's go get some answers before they arrive." *turns, gasps, re-establishes transmission* "Oky? You better hurry up and see this...

[jifel]

IG-11 crouched on a thick branch sighting his blaster on a sprinting commando, as he was about to fire, he ran a simulation and realised he would be hunted down and extirminated approximately 2 kilometers short of the seperatist alliance base if he was discoverd. Taking out a single commander was not worth failing to deliver the prescice location of the republic survivors camp. The droid marked its position and then leaped off towards home base.

Jifel sprinted through the forest, leaping over logs and pitfalls until he reached the clearing, where he leaped and rolled behind his scout tank, Barking hoarsely, "Clones! Battle positions! Clankers have been spotted!"

He paused to catch his breath, and then jogged to the command tent to make a report.

pr0:"I still cant get the monsters? They seemes to dissapeared! Converting all power to scanners now!"

The scanner widened the map but still no sign of them. Suddenly Oky burst into the room and to the holo projector.

Oky:"we managed tp get a message from watch tower from JD but we cant pin point the location."

pr0 got out of his seat and joined the conversation with Oky.

[-JD-]

Oky: If those monsters don't appear on those scanners, they could be anywhere.

Jim: Perhaps they are advanced lifeforms? Maybe the computers do not recognize them.

pr0: That seems the explanation.

Jim: Lets decode that message!

JD was about half way to the top of the cliff. If he fell, he would die. Suddenly he heard a roaring noise. He looked down and saw the monsters climbing the cliff straight toward him. JD looked around and grabbed onto a vine. He swung back and forth to build up momentum, and let go. He flew upward and grabbed onto a overhang. He pulled himself up and realized he had reached the top. His efforts were useless because the monsters had reached the top as well. He was surrounded. The suns had just dissapeared over the horizon as a huge flying creature flew overhead. It dived down toward the others creatures and picked them up with its claws. JD was left alone, he thought. He watched in awe as the beast flew away. There was one other monster he had not seen. The flying creature had missed one. It jumped from behind the rock and ran at JD. It knocked him off the edge, but could not stop in time. It fell as well.

As Garviel exited the cockpit and left his fighter. Someone walked towards him, he looked annoyed "Hey jedi, get out of here, as soon as the droids are finished with the rabble up there, they're going to find you here and take it out on us."

"I'm not a jedi" Garviel replied "I'm looking for my friends"

"Good for you" he muttered clearly not interested "why didn't you wave your hand around like the other one?"

Loken sighed "For the last time, i'm not a je- wait, what do you mean the other one? was there a jedi here?"

"yeah, just walked in to the local bar, waving his hand around "I'm looking for this, tell me the location of that" he ended up talking to Malcolm, we never heard from him again after that."

"Can i talk to this Malcom?" asked Garviel

"Fine, if you'll leave afterwards" Garviel nodded "Follow me. Bring your droid as well" He said pointing to R3 D6 "He'll be needed."

[-JD-]

It is now dark. Some STAPS were on a routine patrol of the area.

Droid 1: Well, this is boring.

Droid 2: Yeh, this is boring.

*Rock falls and hits Droid 1 on the head*

Droid 1: OW! What was that?

Droid 2: I hope it is not a rock slide! *Looks up and gets squished by monster*

Droid 1: Corporal? *turns STAP around* Uh oh.

JD: Heads up!

Droid 1: GAH! *JD lands on STAP and kicks the droid off the controls and plumeting to its doom*

JD: Clankers.

JD flies over the canopy of the trees to get a good view and sees a light up ahead.

JD: What the?!

A rocket zooms past JDs head.

JD: Poodoo!

Earlier on the Fortitude...

Oky: What is that in the sky?

pr0: *looks out window* Looks like some huge dragon!

Sparky: Sirs, I take it you have never been here before? Thats a Grink'elg. It flies under cover of darkness. Copletely harmless to us humans though, it just likes the local beasts.

Jim: That is very big! Too big....

Clone: SIR! I have got something on the scannners!

Jim walked to the Clone at the control panel.

Jim: Thats a STAP. Shoot it down.

Clone: Looks like someone is beating us to it. Someone fired a rocket. It missed. Wait...it's doubling back!

JD turned and saw the rocket heading for him. He made the STAP go full speed to the rocket's origin, hoping to destroy whoever was controlling it.

Tee-Bee: Wait look at the scanners it appears thats giving off more heat than a droid.

Oky: Watch out that dragon things swooping-

"Crunch!" The glass broke and massive hole apeared in the roof. Everyone opened fire on it. Suddenly a clone got snatched up and eaten.

Jim: See if one of you can get a grenade in its mouth.

Another clone got eaten then suddenly the creature blew up. Flesh and blood rained down.

Pr0: Gross!

Everyone seemed to agree. Then a small blast were the stap was caught there attention

Tee-Bee: What was that?

[Wouwie]

Wouwie: Sparky! You said something about darkness?!

Sparky: Yeah, that dragon likes darkness!

Wouwie: CLONES! Put on your lights and shine on the thing! I'll fire an 'nade in it's mounth!

Clone: Yes sir!

Wouwie: Jim! Should I call for backup?!?!

Jim: Yeah! Call some fighters to kill that dragon and maybe some gunships!

Wouwie: I'll call them! But first'I'll give that thingy his meal!

[-JD-]

JD had obliterated the Rodian post were the rocket was fired. He walked around the wreckage examining the dead bodies. Then, a figure walked throught the fire.

Drag'dul: About time you showed up, you slimey peice of £@%$.

JD: YOU!! How?

Drag'dul: After you broke all my limbs and threw me through that portal, I landed in this reality. Luckily in this Rodian post. They were my other selfs troops, but I replaced him as I am sure you did to yours.

JD: Don't be so sure. There is always two of me in any reality!

Drag'dul: I'll have the pleasure of killing you twice then.

Drag'dul charged at JD faster than anything he had seen. JD was thrown off his feet as Drag rammed him. JD landed with a thud.

JD: *groan* You super alien or something? You voice sounds part robot. *grunt, gets up*

Drag'dul: You could say that. After the soldiers found me I was given bionic legs, arms and body. Basically, you have made me into a cyborg!

Drag grabbed JDs throat and started to choke him. Thok and the captain ran from the bushes after hearing the explosion. They saw Drag'dul.

Thok: JD! Kill that other one!

The two opened fire, but it had no effect.

Drag'dul: *absorbs bullets* Oh yes, and I am bullet proof. Every shot I take in makes me stronger! GRAARRR!!!!

JD was thrown at Thok and the Captain, who ended up in a pile. They were surrounded by fire. Drag'dul leapt over the flames and landed in front of them.

Drag'dul: Impressed? HA HA HA!!!!

Drag'dul is back and boy does he mean business!

Loken entered the bar "so where is he?" he asked impatiently

"Over there" he pointed to a man sitting in the corner, Malcolm was wearing nondescript clothes and was trying to chat up the Twilek barmaid. she slapped him and walked away, rolling her eyes at Garviel as he sat down.

"Malcolm?"

"Who wants to know?"

I do, I'm want to know the whereabouts of a jedi who was here a while ago"

"Oh, you mean Ren," he began to smirk "I know where he is, it'll cost you though."

Loken didn't have time for this, he pulled his gun out and aimed it at Malcolm's chest. The bar went quiet. "Tell me where he is and i'll let you keep your lungs"

Malcolm sighed "every one seems to be doing that to me recently, its starting to get-" he lunged for Garviel punching him in the face, he ran out of the bar. Loken stumbled after him, still a bit woozy from the punch.

He watched as Malcolm jumped on a bike and sped away. Garviel swore, he hated it when they ran. A whistle from behind made him jump slightly. It was R3 D6, he whistled again, and Garviel smiled and ran back to his ship.

[Adam]

Adam had headed off towards the main bar on Trexxon during the confusion with the monsters. He would've stayed to help out, but along with the information about Ren, Adam had some items of a personal nature to discuss with him. By the time he had reached the bar, however, a blur shot past him and he was surprised to witness Garviel Loken stumble out the entrance. He than began running back to a nearby ship with a droid, which Adam recognized as Garviel's R3 D6. Adam bolted after him, and as Garviel climbed into his ship, Adam grabbed him and hissed. "Loken!" Garviel turned around, mildly surprised. "Oh, hello, Ad-" Adam cut him off and told him urgently that he knew where Malcolm was headed, a small underground hideaway in the back-alleys of the city. "But stay quiet and act like I do," Adam whispered.

[Tim Bit]

T-B: Shall we investigate?

Jim: Why not? We'll never get sleep with all the beesties stirring.

Oky: Shall we depart then?

They all headed off in the wrong direction.

Half an hour later

Sparky: What was that?

T-B: What?

Jim: I didn't hear anything either.

Sparky: I definitely heard something.

T-B: Wait I hear it too... It sounds like... blaster fire.

T-B drew his electro staff and sparky drew his rifle as they both ran in the same direction.

Oky: Come back.

They began to run after them into a clearing. Olny to find Assassin droids and clones battleing it out.

Garviel and Adam reached the small underground hideaway, and hid behind some crates. Malcolm nervously glanced out the door and started talking to some of his guards. "Someone is after information about that jedi, theres a chance this whole operation is compromised, i'm getting out of here. You fly escort, " he said pointing to a guard with a speeder bike "keep 5 meters behind me, so they can't ambush us."

He jumped on his speeder and flew off, The escort. was just about to jump on his speeder when he was blasted by Garviel. He looked at the jungle "you drive" he muttered, "I call blaster rifle"

The pair sped through the jungle, slowly gaining on Malcolm. Behind them 2 Seperatist Droid speeders appeared behind them.

"urm Adam.. We have company"

"Well, blow them out of the sky then." Garviel fired and sent one crashing down, but he couldn't get the last one. He heard Adam sigh, "You drive Garvi, I'll deal with this" Loken climbed onto the controls and heard the familiar hiss of Adam's lightsaber being activated.

Adam jumped of the moving speeder and landed on the droid speeder, one slash of his lightsaber decapitated the droids and jumped back onto the speeder. "Taken care of" he laughed.

The jungle started to disappear into a canyon, Malcolm's speeder was slightly ahead. Garviel fired the cannons and scored a grazing hit on the engine. Malcolm's speeder skidded along the ground and came to a stop. As they Flew past the wreckage Adam jumped off and landed in front of the injured Malcolm, while Garviel hit the breaks and aimed his gun at him.

"Fine" Malcolm coughed "I'll tell you what you want to know."

Back with the others

Everyone had joined the fray now. Just when it seemed like they'd won the assassin droids called in regular and super battle droids.

Tee-Bee: Let loose a droid popper sparky.

Then sparky threw it into the advancing droid battalion. All the droids fell to the ground.

Jim: Any casualties.

Oky: We lost some clones but no one else.

A jedi marched forth followed by a clone commander and three clones.

Ren Luun: I am Ren Luun and this is J13FL my clone commander. You are...

Jim: Jim Butcher and this is my team, Adam, Oky, Wouwie Pr0 and Adam.

Tee-Bee: and I am Tee-Bee I formally commanded the ninety ninth. Speeking of witch... Jim I have a question.

Jim: Go-On.

Tee-Bee: May I join your team.

Jim: Thats up to my whole team. We'll talk when were with them.

[Adam]

Adam clutched Malcolm's throat and held his lightasaber at his face while Garviel scanned the area for more CIS droids. "Alright, let's get to the point," Adam started, "where's the Jedi?" Malcolm coughed, his face turning purple, and said, "That's the last of you're worries - I suspect you'll find him easy enough. No, you've got much more to be concerned about!" Adam tightened his grip. "Then tell me." A smile began to creep to Malcolm's lips. "Well, why should I tell you? I am being paid quite a bit of money by the CIS, and there's nothing you can do to make me talk!" Adam responded by chopping off one of Malcolm's legs, and afterwards, he seemed a little more eager to cooperate. "Okay..." he gasped, "Watch out for Luun; he's not who you think! Just head over to the city monument to find out." Malcolm then gave a wry smile. "But if you're looking to strike this problem at the root, it'd be far easier to -" Malcolm's head suddenly flew off his neck as nearly twenty Super Battle Droids surrounded Garviel and Adam. "Quick!" Loken cried, motioning to a small gap in the trees behind them.
