But still... Except for me and MacK, I don't see anyone posting pics at all, and we haven't had any pics for about 2 pages now. That's why I think that this comic-system doesn't work.

I don't think we should shut it down because of the lack of pics, People might not have the parts or the time to build something, i'm actually enjoying the story and its getting my non lego creative juices flowing.

Okay I'm back and here's a really short story section following on from my previous entry.

After the failed assassination attempt 0024 traveled to the wookiee planet of Kashyyyk where he was planning on wiping out a vital wookiee base with a newly discovered chemical. 0024's republic interceptor crashed into a large wrosher tree a hunger swarm of carnivorous bugs came to great him mouth's open wide. 0024 threw a grenade full of the deadly chemical which killed the bugs but it also killed off the section of tree he was in causing the branches to weaken. Suddenly his ship hurtled down through the trees towards the muddy floor below him.

Is it okay if my character in the next post changes his outfit? Also sorry if we changed any posting /story guidelines because I haven't been around for a while.

Oky Wan JimButcher, and MacK continued through the prison factuality. A few moments ago they had found another trap door which allowed for them to reach the next floor. "I wonder how many more floors we'll have to go through before we find Annix and Thok." asked Oki Wan out loud. "Not many more... I hope" said Jim as they walked past some random crates.

"Who are you?" came a voice from someone still not within view. "Hey it’s Thok" Jim said while he ran over to one wall that was grated with a door that was covered in a ray shield to prevent people from entering or exiting. "Wait you guy's don't understand it’s a trap get out while you can I'll be fine just go." Thok said anxiously while looking down the hall that the trio just came down. "Look don't worry We'll get you out then we'll find Annix and get out of here" said Jim "Oky Wan can you take down the ray shield". "I'm already on it" said Oky Wan furiously working on the control panel trying to release the shields.

Not before long the shields covering the entrance went down and Thok was free. "Thok isn't it I'm MacK, I'm Republic Officer" MacK said introducing himself. "Thok do you know where Annix is?” Asked Jim Butcher. "yeah he's with the Bounty hunter that captured us in the first place". He said. "So where’s this bounty hunter then asked MacK.

"Hee hee, you pathetic fools I knew you would fall for it Hee hee" From down the hallway came a large form that was easily recognized as the bounty hunter. "We're boned" commented Thok as he went and sat behind a wall to stay out of the line of fire. "Do you have any ideas MacK" asked Jim as he and MacK approached the Bounty hunter. "Stand down droids I will deal with this scum myself". "Jim try to get behind him and shoot thats where he appears to be weak" said MacK. As he did the bounty hunter charged towards MacK and Jim like a raging bull, they both moved out wards and fired a few rounds but it was impossible to damage him because of the heavy armor that he wore.

The bounty Hunter quickly turned around, again he charged except this time he managed to pick up MacK. However he also dropped a pistol which Thok quickly scrambled for. "Is this the best that the Republic can throw at me?" asked the bounty hunter in a menacing voice "this is pathetic".

MacK was hurled across the room, while Jim managed to slip behind the hunter unnoticed and took a shot at the back of his head on his neck. "The bounty hunter stumbled around for a few seconds after letting out a large cry then ran back to where all the battle droids were waiting. "prepare my ship and bring the prisoner with me. The rest of you go and destroy those Republic meat bags.

"Roger roger blast them" a droid called as they started to run towards the hiding spot of the Republic Prisoners. "Does anyone have a plan Jim asked as he crouched behind a few crates and fired at the oncoming onslaught. "I got one said MacK I just hope that those hoses on the wall are full of high pressured water.

Okay I hope that this is okay with everyone, Annix is currently going to be held captive by the bounty hunter so we may have to save him soon (which is mostly Oky Wan’s idea BTW). Also I regret to inform you guy's of this but on August 11th I'll be going to Newfoundland for three weeks . Since I will be away from my Lego, and my computer this is probably going to be the last time I post until I come back sadly. I'm sorry I didn't give you guy's much notice, but I figure that I should tell you sometime before I leave. Just do what you guy's did when JimButcher was away and pretend I'm here so you guy’s can use my character however you need. May the force be with you

Easy 501-1 grabs the intercom micro and says; ''Everybody, we have some back up coming!''

Trooper:''Sir, connection established!''

''Cmd Rex, what a plesant suprise to see you coming to save our sorry behinds!''

Rex: ''Good to see you to, can you give me a SitRep?''

''Offcourse, we are heavaly outnumberd, we are about 3/4 of our full strengt and...'' *Air alarm interruped* ''Danm, more incoming Sepratist! What's your ETA?''

Rex: ''About half an hour.''

''Be fast, or you'll need to help the medics!''

Rex: ''10-4!''

*Hologram fades*

Intercom: ''Sir, what do we need to do?!''

Easy 501-1: ''Grab everything you can and regroup at the main defense line!''

Intercom: ''Understood sir!''

Well, for this scene I have the vig, but not the figs ready..I'm missing my head..What an embarrasing moment.. xD

Mack leaped out of the corner they were hiding in, grabed the hose, and ripped it off the wall. Immediately, water started shooting out of it, so Mack aimed it at the battle droids. The ones that were hit by the water short-circuited and exploded.

Wave after wave of droids, Mack hosed them down until he had taken most of them out. But when there was still a bunch left, he suddenly ran out of water. With the droids starting to fire again, Mack quickly went back into hiding.

"Damn! Anyone got another plan?" he asked the others.

"I think I do" said Oky Wan. "Everyone, get together - I want to make a holo-picture of us." "But how is this going to..." Thok began to say. "Just do it!" urged him Jim, and they did as they were told, while Oky Wan took out a compact holoprojector with built-in camera.

He took a picture of them all and afterwards pressed a button on the device. They were now looking at life-size replicas of themselves that were coming out of the projector. With a flick of his hand, Oky Wan threw it into the prison cell that Thok was just stuck in. Believing that these were the real Oky Wan, Mack, Jim, and Thok, the droids kept moving toward the holograms.

After a while, all of the battle droids were in the cell. In that moment, Oky Wan jumped over to the control panel and reconnected the wires that he had cut before, which reactivated the deflector shield, trapping the droids inside the cell.

"We are trapped" "Roger, Roger" the droids mechanically exclaimed.

"Oky Wan, you're a genius!" said Mack. "Thanks," said Oky Wan, "but now let's get outta here; Garviel is probably almost done setting up the explosives by now!" "You are right," said Mack, "the bounty hunter is probably long gone anyway, along with Annix. I'm guessing they are using him as bait to catch us." "Well, we're gonna have to worry about him later then" Jim cut in. "So, let's go!" They rushed through the corridors and out of the bunker. On the way, they grabbed Thok's clothes and weapons and Jim's nailgun from the room with the tracking device on the wall.

Once outside, they jumped into the speeder Mack and Oky Wan arrived in, and left for Mack's freighter.

I liked that General Grievous reference in your post, Mack. But what is Thok doing next to the bounty hunter in the last pic?

I hope you'll have fun in Newfoundland!

Meanwhile:

"Almost done" muttered Xela as he started to arm the final charge. Loken had let him breach the door, his mining experience would be helpful, But it still didn't reassure Garviel.

"FIRE IN THE HOLE" Xela shouted and ran for cover. Zeus and Mendis grabbed their blasters and waited. The door blew open, ripping a large portion of it from the hinges and down the corridor

"GO GO GO" Mendis called as he began to run inside.

"Mendis wait!" called Zeus, but it was too late, the battle droid counter fire came. Mendis fell down, dead.

A few minutes later it was only Xela and Garviel left, Zues had died in an ambush by a few super battle droids. "there's a power core behind this door " Xela said. As they walked closer to the door it started to open and a hooded black figure walked out.

Xela began to reach for his gun when he was suddenly thrown to the wall, breaking a nearby control panel. He slumped down on the floor, Loken was quicker however and fired.

The Blaster bolt never reached the target, it just stopped frozen in mid air. "Even you must have realized that wouldn't work a second time" The cloaked figure muttered, moving their hand forward, the blaster flew out of Loken's and hit the floor nearby. The figure then took off her cloak, "YOU!" shouted Garviel in shock "How did you..."

Bequin smiled back at him "Hello old freind, have you missed me." She walked over to Loken, arm raised, ignoring Xela slowly stirring behind her. Garviel was lifted in the air and began to choke. "I'm so sorry" Bequin muttered, clearly not sorry at all "The sith have great plans for me, which unfortunately you're not a part of"

Suddenly a blaster bolt rushed past her head and hit a nearby control panel. turning around she dropped Loken and turned to face Xela, who was resting against a wall with Loken's blaster in his hand. "I have great plans for me" Xela retorted "which fortunately you're not a part of" and pressed the detonator.

The control ship lurched as the charges exploded, Loken ran, the corridor he was in, suddenly disintegrated in a ball of flame as the charges Xela was carrying detonated. He continued to run ignoring the battle droids on fire, shooting at him and the wreckage of the corridors. The corridor exploded and Loken blacked out.

Sorry for my absence lately, I've been rather busy.

Alright, folks, I think it's time to end this chapter. We leave off at most of the players (don't know exactly who, can someone please clarify?) retreating the area of Utapau that they were in. Before Butcher, Thox, and Annix were captured, they learned that the CIS were making a time machine[/s suit (an idea) to go back in time to stop the republic from ever being made, so that the CIS would rule the galaxy. We have lost two of our players, Palin Jax (for the time being, I doubt he will ever return), and brickbreaker (banned... someone please kill him off ). From now until August 30th, all people who wish to join the comic game should do so. All newcomers, please read the rules on the first page of this thread. Also, when Chapter 3 starts, feel free to make a new banner like Oky Wan's. One's in the works for me, but still, everyone is welcome to make theirs, and I hope all players decide to put their favorite banner in their sig. So, get prepared for the next chapter, and join up, non-players!

After they had left the bunker where Jim, Annix, and Thok were held prisoner, our four heroes headed straight for MacK's freighter. When they arrived there, they were surprised to see that Loken and the others still weren't there. "Where are they?" asked Oky Wan, more to himself than to the others. "They should have been done setting the charges a long time ago!" "Something must have gone wrong" MacK figured. "Some of us should go and check for them" Jim suggested. "MacK, you and Thok make the ship ready and wait for our signal. Oky Wan and I will go and see what's wrong." "Alright" said MacK, and he and Thok entered the ship together while Oky Wan and Jim got back into the speeder and headed down to the lower levels of the sinkhole.

They traveled through tunnels for a little while until they finally reached the level where the core ship was located. They came out of the last tunnel, just in time to see the large, round vessel rise into the air. "Oh no! They're taking off!" exclaimed Jim. But in that moment, a couple of booms were to hear, and parts of the core ship exploded. "Yes! They did it!" shouted Oky Wan. "But where are they?" As they watched flames bursting out the sides of the ship, they noticed a human body appearing out of the flames and flying right toward them. It fell into a pile of debris only a few feet away from them. "Oh my god! That was Loken!" said Oky Wan in shock. Jim jumped out of the speeder to look for the wounded man and Oky Wan followed. Heavily damaged but apparently still able to fly, the core ship kept rising up out of the sinkhole and into the sky in the meanwhile, leaving a thick trail of smoke all the way.

"OKY, OVER HERE" shouted Jim after a while. Oky Wan came over as quick as he could. After he looked at the poor man lying in Jim's arms, he said: "He's hurt pretty bad. Jim, contact Mack, get the ship to our location. He's going to need medical attention!" "Yes, of course. Any sign of the other three?" "No." Jim sighed. "Let's get him on board and get out of here." Oky Wan carried him out of the pile of core ship debris and put him on the ground gently while Jim gave the orders to MacK.

A couple of minutes later, they were picked up by the white freighter, and they all left the sinkhole in the direction the core ship had left. On board, a clone medic was doing his best on Garviel Loken. He told Jim and Oky Wan: "It's a miracle that he survived that, but I think he'll make it." Relieved about this news, the two sat down. After the medic had left they tried talking to Loken. "Garviel?" said Oky Wan, "Can you hear me? What happened back there?" Rattling, Loken said: "Xela... Mendis... Zues... all dead... Beqin... returned..." Afterwards, he lost conscious again. There was an eerie silence for a while until they heard MacK saying through the intercom: "Preparing jump into Hyperspace. Destination: Hoth." And in the blink of an eye, the little freighter disappeared into the field of stars...

End of Chapter 2

How is that for a dramatic ending of a chapter? I'll add pics later, I'm tired now.

Sweet ending! So Annix is with the CIS as an experiment, and they are moving to Hoth. I suppose it will be a lot easier to make MOCs for this now, since I have way more white pieces than tan. So now Chapter two is done. That leaves six days for newcomers to join. Again, deadline for joining in is

Also, most of the current members might want to change their outfits a bit for the cold weather ahead. I'm in the process of deciding mine. Oh, and you can type everything in black for now, until the chapter starts.

If you don't have the pilot, a normal clone will suffice.

Just to confirm, my character is a clone commander named John, whose Jedi commander gave him the last name Thok during a situation where the jedi panicked and my character was forced to knock him out; THOK, the sound of my fist hitting his head, being the last thing he heard before he was knocked out.

Yes, I have those parts. Funny story of yours, by the way . While we are on the subject of clones, for Skipper 24's character, Commander Cody's torso will work perfectly in place of his custom. I used ExoBuilder's sigfig head (stubble with grin) for the head with black generic hair. It's as close as I could get to his character.

EDIT: I'm using Commander Fox's Torso, with white legs and black hips. The head, hat, and weapons are all the same. If you don't have that torso, a shocktrooper's is fine.
