Here's an MOC of a little country cottage. Sorry for the poor quality photos, but at least they're the right way around this time! Hope you like it!

lego1.jpg

It's a small cottage in an isolated location. It has a living area, a bedroom and a rooftop garden.

Outside there is a fire for cooking,

And a barrel to collect rainwater.

The interior.

legohouse3.jpg

The living area has an armchair, a flower, a chest for the owners belongings and a basin of water with soap and towels (it's a very, very isolated location, so it has no running water).

legohouse4.jpg

The bedroom has a bed, a cup of water, an extra blanket and a chamberpot (because there's no running water, they don't have a proper toilet).

The rooftop garden has plenty of flowers, a deck chair, a table and a drink.

Hope you liked it. C&C welcome as usual!

Not bad, but if there is no running water why a tap on the basin....also I would make the basin look like a basin and not just a brick. Now a rainwater tank on the side with side guttering would solve this problem. A solar panel on the roof for electricity - lightning and powering a water pump. An outhouse or out side toilet is another suggestion.

Is there somewhere to cook food ?

In any case a very good try again from you 'Gregorovich', keep on going.....the more you design....the more you build.....the better you get ! :classic:

Brick On 'Gregorovich' !

Thanks very much! The pink tap piece is actually supposed to be a soap pump, but I suppose it didnt really work  . The basin isn't just a brick, it's the cooking pot piece. A water-tank and solar panels would be useful, but I'm trying to keep the 'countryside' feel of it, and a solar panel would make it too modern, so I don't think I'll make them. And no, there isn't anywhere to cook food inside, but there could be an imaginary fire or BBQ. Anyway, thanks for the compliments!

I like the huge throne. I think if you sat down and started putting some finer details in it like a cooking area, (maybe a camp fire outside? ??) and a place to wash up, and maybe a well this thing would really come together I like it! just stick the whole thing on a 32x32 green baseplate.

Thanks for the compliments, Syn. I think I might add a place to cook, and there's already a place to clean up. I would put it on a green baseplate, but I've used all of mine up!

ahh surely you can get another lol they are 4.95 from lego I think. I've never liked those big base plates, I have two and the only reason I'll use them is to make something taller as if its on a hill.
