"A deal it is." Skrall fished out a pouch of 200 Gold and gave it to Tensi. "So from what I heard, things didn't go so well at this pagoda."

Tesni hands over the Compound Bow and takes the 200 gold. "Here Skrall, happy hunting!"

Heckz gets up from his table and aproaches Tesni Hightribe. He pointed at the Fiery Sawblade and said "That's a fine blade you've got there, miss. Where did you get it?"

To both the observers Tesni grinned ruefully. "Aye, in truth it was a tough battle and we fought to our last. I got this blade thanks to Cinnia, she has her heart set on another sword and I was able to make a claim on it. She and Hybros were a force to be reckoned with in there." She grabbed another drink from a passing server and a plate of food. "The pagoda was a tower, y'see. All puzzle doors and trap rooms. 108 of the buggers were packed in there, we didn't even get to find all of them. They had set themselves up in rooms of the elements and went about battling us, it was constant." the berserker paused, grimacing a moment. "Some magic blocked my respite and prevented our fallen from awaking after the skermish ended. What I would have given for a few more of those bombs from Haddon!

We were in the company of an unusual warrior, he did not take kindly to our attempts at healing or boosting his skills. Some religion thing I think. We lost him in a room of ice, I want to go back for him though, and to take another crack at those bandits!"

Walking back to Cinna, and seeing that Amma still seemed to be listening, Arthur speaks to the Mystic Knight with a tone that betrayed his tiredness. "It seems the way of the mage is the way of debt--first to the elements, and then to our peers. Perhaps that is why we are prone to madness--we pay fate with our sanity. Do you still have that Journal I gave you? Let us use it continue our negotiations for that Scroll of Disenchantment after I have departed. I will pay any price you wish, within reason, and am even willing to make a down payment. You, of course, would keep the Scroll until I have paid the full amount. Does that seem reasonable?"

"Hi there, it's sure been a while. I do still have the journal, but I'm not planning to sell this scroll at any price. Learned my lesson last year when I sold that Witches Talisman for pittance."

Returning to the others, he added "That should do it. If this is unfair to you, speak with me please. Namyrra, I would greatly appreciate it if you could open this Winged Box for me. I believe a wind spell will open it."

"Thank you Hybros, this all looks fair to me. Namyrra seems to be distracted, but I could open that box for you, if you'd like? Also you still have my old helmet and I have your diamond."

She takes out the diamond and hands it to him.

"Thanks for letting me borrow it for the quest. I hope I can pick one up in the market."

"Eh... I also think we should divide this gold up evenly. I have 240, and Cinna has 630 I believe, hehe."

"That's a good idea, I got a bunch of gold from that chest and a poor mage like me sure doesn't know what to do with so much gold."

She pulls out her bag of gold and sets three piles of 100 gold each on the table. She pushes a pile toward each of her teammates Namyrra, Tesni, and Tarn.

"I think you'll be able to put that to good use."

"Thank you Hybros, this all looks fair to me. Namyrra seems to be distracted, but I could open that box for you, if you'd like? Also you still have my old helmet and I have your diamond."

"I would, hehe, thank you." Hybros presented the box to Cinna, holding it out to her to open. "Yes, thank you, here is your Aurora Helmet back. It served me well, but I feel that I will find better defensive gear in the Marketplace, eheh." Hybros receives the Diamond.

She pulls out her bag of gold and sets three piles of 100 gold each on the table. She pushes a pile toward each of her teammates Namyrra, Tesni, and Tarn.

Hybros also pulls out his 240 extra gold from the quest, giving 40 to each Namyrra, Tesni, Cinna, and (somewhat hesitantly) Tarn.

"Oh gold, I should go spend this soon."

Storing the gold and gear, she then concentrates on the box and casts a small targeted wind spell at it.

A small wind spell makes the wings on the side of the box flap, and the lid clicks open, revealing a glimmering Sapphire.

"Thank you, Cinna, eheh... I am going to visit the Marketplace myself. Lots of gold to spend, you see, hehehe."

With that, Hybros departed the Hall.

"Glad I could help. I'm heading to the market as well."

Cinna departs the Hall.

Tarn wanders back into the Hall, fresh from his Training Room and Marketplace exploits. He takes the time to carefully sign his name against Quest#67: Nova Tertia before sitting down once again.

"Tarn, a new look I see!" Tesni calls over as she enters from the marketplace.

Tarn smiled, the noble mask making the gesture look far more sinister than intended.

"Indeed so, my dear Tesni. I fear that the way of the Bezerker was not for me. I missed the Frenzy we Barbarians used to get into. Being a Raider restores that, and should also help my gold reserves, which have been meagre of late. Hopefully I will be more prepared for a renewed assault on the pagoda, should it occur."

"Aye, but this berserker power is certainly for me." Tesni sat back in her chair and scrawled a note for the board. She had varied items for sale and was hoping to get a better price than at the marketplace.

Namyrra sought out Hybros in the hall, "Hybros, I believe this is yours, thanks for letting me borrow it during our endless endeavour." and hands back the Pheles Rod.

After having returned the Pheles Rod to Hybros she went to sign up for Quest #67 and the Unlimited Quest.

En Sabah Nur approaches the barbarian table. "Well met accomplished heroes. I am En Sabah Nur, fledgling magician with a shortage of gold. My situation is so dire I can not even afford a simple cantrip scroll page for my spell book. If ye could spare a bit of coin, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, perhaps I could offer something in trade." The mage grinned before removing an item from his pack then focusing his gaze on Tesni.

"This trinket grants a fire aura to melee attacks that allows your blade to do double damage to enemies weak to fire. The best part is that with this amulet, you will still be able to inflict normal damage to enemies with fire immunity, as long as your weapon of choice is without a ruby of course. You will become the ultimate beast slayer!"

"A tempting offer friend, but I am more of a manslayer." Tesni winked and waved at Cysgodion, if a sword could glower that was what her blade was doing. "Though Fàelàn would be unstoppable with a trinket like that the ruby I placed in his hilt would confilct... " She paused to consider the offer.

"Sorry mage, I have little use for the amulet for now, but I could negotiate a loan. I have paid what I need for now y'see."

An adventurous looking man stumbles into the hall.

"You 5, come quickly! I am Bors, and people are currently being ripped to shreds by giant lizards while you sit here. Let's go! Let's go!"

Haldor is stirred from his lathargic state by a loud cry. He stumbles blindly to his feet, finally noticing that he has been chosen for a quest.

"Right you are, mate. I'll be on my way as soon as possible, wouldn't want things to get out of hand... before we get there."

The nord empties the last of his umpteenth tankard into his beard, checks that everything is in order, grabs his axe and follows the man out of the door.

"Fear not Bors, I am on my way!"

Tarn left the Hall to join the Quest.

Jeaux noticed an adventurous looking man make his way into the hall. He seemed to be in quite a hurry and the automaton decided it would probably be best to not spend too much time dilly dallying.

When Bors entered the hall, Heckz thought it was a lost foreigner. But when he mentioned Heckz and the quest he signed up for, Heckz's reaction was different from the others "I was actually chosen?" Heckz followed Bors.

"Sorry mage, I have little use for the amulet for now, but I could negotiate a loan. I have paid what I need for now y'see."

"Very well then. I have no interest in becoming indebted to others. I will take my leave, good day." Nur offers a slight nod then walks towards the bar.
