brickmack Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I've started getting a lot into making M:Tron MOCs, so here is my first spaceship from the theme: The MT-9 Mining Defense Fighter Unfortunately, I don't yet have any M:Tron minifigures, so I used the closest substitute I could make with my minifig parts I do have. There are cannons on each engine (Dark bley thing) but they are kinda small. In hindsight, I probably should have added something to make them longer, but I was kinda worried about overdoing it since it seemed odd to have a mining company with extremely heavily armed fighters when this was meant as just a light defense ship. You could say your weapons are pulse cannons. Be great to have a fleet of these eh ? Keep on MOCing 'brickmack' ! Quote

Unfortunately the trans-neon-green parts I used for the windscreen are the only ones of those parts I have, and a lot of the other parts I don't have many of... Maybe eventually I'll get enough for another one, but certainly not a fleet. Quote

I had a magnet attached to the bottom of it (I was planning to have it as a docking tool for a space station I might make eventually) but I took it off before I took the pictures because I was worried the magnetic field might damage my camera. Not sure though on that, I'll have to do some tests later. Nice spaceship. I really like how you made the cockpit. Cant wait to see more of your mocs. The cockpit is actually the same design as was used in most of the Blacktron II sets, but I added some stuff to the front to make it more studless. Quote
