XimenaPaulina Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Oh wow, it's very nice to see a classic M-Tron MOC in this modern age of Sci-Fi builds. This is really a well-done Space Outpost - the design and colors are very true to the M-Tron subtheme, especially the effective use of those trans-light green windshield pieces. Great job overall timura, thank you for sharing this and taking us back down memory lane with this classic space build. Quote
Plastemaurer Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Seeing a M-Tron MOC in this day and age brings back some memories. Thank you very much for that timura. This outpost is very well designed and has everything M-Tron needs: the black-red-trans-neon-green-color-scheme of course, lots of cargo crates and a magnet crane. The heavy armament makes it a bit too belligerent for my taste, but then, they have to defend against those Blacktrons after all, I really like the control tower and the shuttle has an interesting mixture of M-Tron and Blacktron II designs. The speeder bikes are also very nice and quite obviously Star Wars inspired, but they still fit well into the M-Tron scheme. Great work, timura. Thanks for sharing. PM Quote
timura Posted January 31, 2011 Author Posted January 31, 2011 (edited) Thank you very much for your comments. I always liked the m-tron and blacktron 1-2 themes since i was a child. I like to combine the old themes with heavy weaponery :) M-tron Speeder bikes are for the starwars fans. Are there any sci-fi fans who doesnt like starwars? i dont think so Edited January 31, 2011 by timura Quote
Flare Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Very nice work! I always appreciate a good M:Tron Moc Quote
Legostein Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Hello! That's a true win for M:Tron space! The colour scheme macthes exactly, the functionality of M:Tron has been realized, and the support craft are built in the right style. All in all a great contribution for all M:Tron fans, especially considering the fact that M:Tron never had an official base released (besides the repair station in idea book 260). Thanks for sharing, ~ Christopher Quote
Alopex Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Very nice! It really look's like an old M-tron set, I just love those. Keep up the good work! Quote
