My new project, a Kamaz truck 4x4 with 2 speed gearbox, 3 diferentials, only 15 studs between wheels with the point of steering very close from the wheel, only 1 stud and 2 XL motors for propulsion. I tried to do a leaf suspension but I don´t know why I did this rare thing but it works  , anyone knows the name? :sweet: or I called jorgeopesi mad suspension system  .

Interesting build. I think you could either call it leaf spring or flat spring. There is multiple words for it. Though you built it different, the approach for a suspension is the same. Very interesting.

First, nice car! Would love to see a video to see how well those XL's work.

This is a variant of an "elliptic leaf spring". Se this article for more information.

Like these tires and everything that builded with them. Middle scaled truck with 2 xl motors (usually used with bigger scaled mocs) looks interesting.

Also want to see how front wheels were driven

The solid leaf-springs are good but I think they are better in a bigger scale, It was hard but fun to use them in such a short space. The truth is that his speed surprised me, we will see what happens when I remove the leftover pieces and build the body.

I am afraid that with locked central diff small 12 bevel gears in it will slip under the high load.

I live 180 km far from city, where Kamaz facility is situated:)

My challenge was build the smallest truck I can with three differentials, of course it is not a trial truck it only has speed and maneuverability... but I have separate axles without differential and a more appropiate motor configuration to make it a small trial truck (bad trial truck with those wheels but the scale commands). Kamaz trucks look very strong, Dakar knows very very well  .
