Well, just over a month since going on display, the Lego Agents are almost sold out at one of the local stores here selling Lego; Art and Hobby. They had a standalone cardboard display for them, so they were featured against the rest of the Lego. They had the three smaller sets and the car chase (€60 here in Ireland rather than the €50 some other places). Haven't seen the main toy chain here recently, but considering it is S@H prices (€5 cheaper than Art & Hobby for swamp and gold chase), it is probably seeing even more trade.

How are Lego Agents selling in your area?

I'm very happy to see it sell so well, as I think it is one of the more impressive themes Lego have done recently, particularly for a side theme like this. It's just outright stylish, and captures the style of a lot of existing bond/hero/villian stereotypes, thus meaning you can connect with them despite the Agents being nobodies that Lego thought up themselves.

Well, I went to my local Toyworld about a week ago and was the shelves crammed with the usual Lego, and then the Agents sets lining one of the shelves. I bet by now that shelf is almost empty. No doubt the Agents sets are popular, what's not to like about them?

They don't seem to be to popular where I live, there is a display of them in my nearest TRU but its pretty much full. Star Wars on the other hand...

Past monday all I found in a local toystore was a single 8631 Jetpack Pursuit sitting on a more or less empty shelf.

So I'm guessing that the first line of agents is a seller.

I haven't really looked that hard, but I am not too surprised that they are selling. They are very similar to the old spy sets (can't remember the name) which I believe was a good line, that is until they did what they do with a lot of other themes are over extended it. But, the Agent sets are more detailed and have cooler vehicles and pieces, so I think they will sell good for a while, then slowly die while Lego runs out of ideas.

Strangely enough, Agents is not being sold at all in regular Japanese stores. It's possible the Lego Store carries the Agents line-up, but those are all located in outlet malls so I haven't had a chance to check yet.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lego decided not to bother marketing Agents in Japan. The notions of super-spies and super-villains is not part of the collective consciousness here like it is in the West. Here they concentrate more on City, Castle, and Creator sets.

it's selling quite well for my local TRU, all the small sets (missions 1-3) are gone... but everything else (mission 4-up) are stuck on shelves... the bigger sets are just getting too expensive.

Agents is selling AWESOME around here... second only to Batman (can't remeber the last time I saw a Batman set in stock). Star Wars, however, is stacked to the ceilings...

In my area it seems to be very popular as well.

Almost all of the sets have very few left, and for good reason. The sets are simply great!

When I first saw pictures of the line I, and a lot of other people thought they didn't look good at all. But once I saw some reviews, and got a set myself, I was hooked.

It's nice because the sets come with a lot of minifigs normally, and the parts are superb.

It's hard to tell, since my local Target and TRU are good about restocking often, but I think the Agents sets pretty well, along with SW and IJ, because those have the biggest displays.
