LegoCube Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) I recently purchased some 4610377 to try. But I didn't buy more 4610378 parts because I already have 8 of them. They are legos and should be reattachable, right? So now I am struggling how to remove a 4610378 from 6022947. Should I just leave them and buy more 4610378 pieces? Separating them without violence seems difficult. (I am already thinking hammer... ) http://brickset.com/parts/4610378 http://brickset.com/parts/6022947 http://brickset.com/parts/4610377 Edited September 7, 2015 by LegoCube Quote
BachAddict Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Definitely buy more. When they first came out, someone did force them apart with just a butter knife. I think it was crowkillers. Check the 8110 threads :) Quote
Vectormatic Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I think you should be able to compress the expanding thingies on the 378 part with a pair of needle nose pliers, might be enough to pull it apart. Quote
LegoCube Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) Thanks for replies! I found the thread mentioned by BachAddict. This by crowkillers was very helpful!Definetly going to try the soap water solution mentioned later in the thread next time. The knife still feels just bit violent. Chade Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I had the exact same problem. I used 2 butter knives to pop out the bits as I found one knife doesn't work. I've split apart 8 of them, and there's been no damage to the parts. Quote
