    Disney Princesses 2019 - Rumors & Discussion

I do admit I really like the polly pocket and might max style book play sets I will definitely pick up the beauty and the beast set I have always hated the little mermaid because ariel was a spoilt brat who nearly got her family and kingdom destroyed and again mulan is not a real princess
  3. You might be right, three speeds would be possible to achieve with a planetary gear system. If so, my guess is that the internal gears of the planetary hubs from 1H2019 are used in this gearbox as well. The question then is by which mechanism this gearbox is actuated and whether this is a manual function or an RC one?

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

All this chatter about post offices. police stations, book store and coffee shops got me thinking. Why not something fresh that looks like a real purpose-built building on a large scale. Maybe an Aquarium with a multi-story central tank. a gift shop at street level and a rainforest greenhouse on the roof. It might make a nice change of pace. PS: The city I live in has three post offices, three UPS stores, a FedEx store and a DHL drop-off center. There's always a line at the post office window and the daily post mostly consists of bills and unwanted catalogs.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

In my home state of Massachusetts there is an island / town called Nantucket. There are three completely different post offices there. One is big modern Cape Cod looking thing no one likes. The other two are exactly what a LEGO modular would look like. The downtown one is up a huge flight of stairs and goes into something you would see on Miracle on 34th Street. It be perfect for the center of a modular. Seems the other one closed which is a shame because it dated back to probably 1830 and looked it. Would be about 15x20 studs if it was made in LEGO. I asked once why there were three post offices on a town of a year round population of 8,000 (Now 11,000), no mail carriers you need to go to the offices to get a P.O. box. Now I'm going to be disappointed if there isn't a post office.
  6. Hello I am lego collector, also I sell and buy lego many times, some time ago I get this figure here in Norway, this is no MOC and have arround 1 metre, this statue was display in shop many years ago. I was try to find some information about it in internet, but I didnt see nothing about this tipe statue. You dont have any information in internet... Also you dont see similar items, modern or old in ebay or similar sites. My opinion is this figure is of an incredible rarity and have priceless value, but this is my opinion. I'm not sure what era this is. Just I want to share it and also if maybe somebody can give more information about it. what do you think about it. If you this is rare, expensive, legal.... Thanks everybody

    Problem: Gear Gets Pulled Out

@Gray Gear This setup is for a DNR shifter. My MOC had a problem when under enough torque that axles get pulled out of axle inserts, and one of the axles pulled out of a gear that caused the car to not move. A day after making this post, I placed some 3L beams between four red axle inserts, and the half-gear's axle now slides a lot less then it used to.

    [MOC] mid-scale Millennium Falcon (WIP)

Actually, the wedges aren't there to cover anything, so it could be fully tiled up, but then we have straight lines that only look weird. I also had tried to fully tile it up like Joerg's MOC (https://www.flickr.com/photos/152499780@N02/37671037711), but with corner tiles to avoid the stairs effect, but it didn't look as good either.

LEGO Sci-Fi 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

Hot damn. This is amazing. I need all of those. Objectively Ninjago is probably one of the best themes of all time. But 2020 looks particularly great. And very 80's retro-futuristic.

    Heroica RPG 2.0

I've been pretty quiet in this discussion (y'all are doing some great work, I just don't have an eye for mechanics), but I agree here. The beauty of Heroica and its core factions is that there was no prior lore to any of it. They were all names without any real substance or connotations attached to them, and thus could be built up in any direction we wanted. As soon as we start adding 'Blacktron' and 'Space Police' and the like, we're going to feel obliged to keep the connotations of those names largely the same. Heroica worked because there were no expectations, and people with no prior knowledge of LEGO Fantasy could jump in freely. Incorporating real LEGO themes wholesale limits that, and limits the creativity of the DM and the player.

    HMS Surprise

Glad you think so. I too find that the finished look is worth the effort. They are really the most troublesome part of the build. The part where I sometimes think "Ships why?!?". The LEGO part is usually fairly easy.

LEGO Speed Champions 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I may be in the minority, but I prefer the Audi to the Ferrari. It looks like the real car it is based on. The Ferrari, especially the front looks awful.

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

This city winter wave went from good too great A new lioness Now we are only missing a male lion to get the big cat family complete They even throw in a parrot for good measure as well and the small bird in the post-plane set. They are all in rather small sets so I hope the animals will not be to expensive to army-build then I will only buy the safari truck of the sets, but I need plenty of lions, dogs, birds and owls so B&P please make them cheep
  17. I don't think the red gear is a clutch gear. I also no longer think the red gear assembly is a differential. I think it's a 3-speed RC gearbox. That would explain the 3 speeds in the control+ screenshot, it would explain the price and it would make it top-gear-collaboration worthy.

    LEGO Ideas Discussion

Same issue here! Don't worry though, the projects are all still there. It seems this issue only happens when you're logged in, I logged out and everything looked normal. Just log out and you should be able to see your projects. It's probably just a simple filter that got messed up during the maintenance, I'm sure it will be fixed here soon.

    LEGO Hidden Side 2020

It's fictional, I wouldn't worry too much about it and just enjoy the sets.

    LEGO Ninjago 2020

It has now! Looks like it should go nicely alongside the Cyber Dragon.
  22. Dear me, these sets are targeting people WAY younger than me. I’d have probably said the same at age 10...

    Disney Princesses 2019 - Rumors & Discussion

They are under the legoleaks Hashtag On Instagram. If you can’t find them keep scrolling because there are just so many photos being posted. the books surprised me so much when I first saw them, but in short time I warmed up to them. I think I might be in love with them though. We get minidoll kids finally, and they use normal minidoll heads and hairpieces. All of the head prints are new. The covers and the spine of the books are stunning in my opinion. There are many useful recolors and new prints such as the new Chip that uses the small tea cup piece. And also is that Shang along with the two Mulan variants in the set? I hope they make more of these because they would look so good next to each other. however I’m disappointed with the regular scale minidoll sets. I’m bored of the Cinderella and aurora sets. I like the owl and the ball gown (altho it’s not needed) for aurora. Cinderella has Bruno so I guess that’s fine. Moanas set is really boring to me. The new face print is weird as well. the biggest disappointment is obviously the absence on Pocahontas in the wave. in summary this seems like a fun wave but a disappointing one. edit: I just noticed the poop piece recolored in white to make a shell

Latest news about Lego animal moulds

The lioness look fantastic and if we get a male lion in the future I will say that Lego have made every version of that mould that we need Who would have thought that 5 year ago when we did not have a single "big cat", so well done Lego and keep the animals coming The sets also has a parrot in blue/yellow so that is nice and the small bird comes in the postal air-plane set, all in all a very good city winter wave regarding animals
