Wow crazy. $110+ to order this and have it shipped to Canada. The priority shipping is more than the unit itself 👎

Lego Technic to 2 mm steel shaft adapters

Here you go. Made this for Andy a few years ago: https://www.shapeways.com/product/7NQ5Q7QYM/1x2-lego-reg-technic-reg-brick-for-156zz-bearing?optionId=61828901&li=marketplace

    Star Wars

It may not be the second Death Star...my own personal theory is that it's one of the twenty-three other death stars that were destroyed off-screen. Seriously, bad guys, quit building death stars already!
  6. Well, that's... disappointing. On another note: are there any new pieces being used for the 75244: Tantive IV set, not counting the printed minifigure parts or new colors? I've looked through the pictures but don't see anything.

Lego Technic to 2 mm steel shaft adapters

Thanks for sharing your ideas! On the 3D printed option, I haven't yet found the printing service in Europe that should be used. in Shapeways, there are basically two options: "Fine Detail Plastic" that is their resin-based plastic. Supports wall-thickness of 0.2 mm "Multi Jet Fusion Plastic PA12", or nylon (slightly stronger than ABS of Legos). Wall-thickness down to 0.5 mm If you look at the geometry of Technic axle, the wall would be approximately 0,5 mm at smallest with the 2 mm shaft hole. So technically both would work. I probably still go to the resin, as it's higher accuracy. If anyone has tips, please let me know. I'll probably make the design available in Shapeways if this succeeds. Best, H

LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

The May 4th promo Hoth diorama set has been revealed. Very disappointing in my opinion - no figure like the HP and Marvel micro promo sets and a micro scale scene that many MOC builders have done before. :(

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion

Is this for the orbital space station? Because it looked to me like that only had two modules and a small ship, plus a solar panel array . . three would make it much better, though! Maybe the third's hidden around the back . . .

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion

Description of the set 60227 Lunar Space Station. Found on Rakuten.fr Description: LEGO® City Space Agency is recruiting! The children can join the astronauts and the team of the lunar space station and prepare to explore or search for geodes. After work, it's time to relax and eat a pizza in front of the TV before going for some sport on the treadmill or going to bed in the antigravity bed. Then the astronauts will put on their suit and fly aboard the Space Shuttle to collect geodes to bring back to Earth. By the way ! Did you know that this set of games is inspired by the real missions of NASA? Great, huh? Product composition: • Includes 4 LEGO® City minifigures: 2 astronauts and 2 crew members, plus one robot. • This space station game includes 3 detachable modules with removable roofs, a living room module with a treadmill, an anti-gravity bed and a TV screen, a lab module with a light brick and search tools, a kitchen module with plants and a pizza oven, plus a central airlock. The modules can be assembled in different ways around the central airlock or above it. • This NASA-inspired astronaut game also includes a detachable satellite with collapsible solar panels, as well as a space shuttle with storage space and an opening cockpit. • Accessories include repair tools, a pizza, 2 geodes with blue crystals (New in June 2019), a helmet with a blue visor and a combination of extravehicular activity with a golden visor, plus a brick separator. • The LEGO® Life app provides intuitive PLUS Instructions. It helps builders, even the youngest ones, in the build process, with zoom, rotation, and ghost functions to view their creations. • The LEGO® Life app can be downloaded from the Android or iOS app store. Children will need to ask permission from their parents before logging on. • This fun building game with an amazing space station is a wonderful gift for kids. • The shuttle is over 4 cm high, 12 cm long and 12 cm wide. • The satellite is more than 3 cm high, 5 cm long and 17 cm wide. • The kitchen module is more than 7 cm high, 13 cm long and 8 cm wide. • The lab module is more than 7 cm high, 7 cm wide and 6 cm deep. • The living room module is more than 7 cm high, 7 cm wide and 6 cm deep. • The central airlock is 7 cm high, 11 cm long and 17 cm wide.

    [MOC] The Joker's Home Turf

First introduced in Detective Comics #168 (Feb. 1951) ("Mystery of the Red Hood"), ACE Chemicals is well renowned as the place the Red Hood died, and in his place the Joker was born. After falling into a vat of toxic waste trying to escape from Batman, the Red Hood discovers that the chemicals bleached his skin and dyed his hair permanently green. This disfigurement caused a psychotic break and he became The Joker. Over the years, the Joker has revisited Ace Chemicals several times, using it as a temporary hideout, as in this case. In a scenario not dissimilar to the Lego Batman Game, where the Joker sent Jervis Tetch to retrieve deadly chemicals from the facility, The dynamic duo have tracked the Joker and the Mad Hatter to the old plant. Lego Technic to 2 mm steel shaft adapters

I would try the 3D printed option first, as you are more likely to get the steel shaft running true successfully, but it will take up more space than the second method. However, the second method is trickier to get working, as you'll have to get the hole for the steel shaft drilled straight and on-center - a mini lathe might be your best option here. EDIT: Come to think of it, you'd probably want access to a resin printer, as the part in question is so small it wouldn't really work out well on a traditional hobby-level 3D printer. Now I'm not sure what the best option is.
