  1. [MOC] Cinderella Castle

Back in 2016 LEGO revealed a beautiful Disney Castle (set 71040). As many of you know this set only contains the front half of the castle with the backside showing rooms and interior. Part of me wished to build the other half with a bit of environment to make a complete castle. Unfortunately it would take up too much space, parts and money. To make my wish come true I set out to design a miniature version of the Cinderella Castle (including the scenery) located in both the Magic Kingdom in Florida and Tokyo Disneyland. The result is what you see in the pictures. This ‘slice of Disneyland’ is build on 1 baseplate of 48 x 48 studs, contains about 3000 parts and took about 3 months to design and build. The plaza in front of the castle contains a small mosaic of a star. This mosaic is a design by the admirable LEGO mosaic builder Katie Walker.
  2. [MOC] Mickey Mouse

While searching for parts I came across a new part which is the 6x6 black dish with handle. A pair of these dishes instantly reminded me of Mickey Mouse ears. I just had to try and build Mickey and after about a month of leisurely building the design was finished. More pictures can be found on my Flickr. Mickey Mouse was build with 313 parts and is about 21cm high. As you can see from the pictures he is quite posable. Since Mickey is loved by many I decided to submit the design to LEGO Ideas. Do you want to build Mickey as well? Go to LEGO Ideas and support!
  3. Hi. I'm new to this forum section, I usually read the Train Tech section. But this time I want present my small projects based on Disney Classics. I've added them on LEGO Ideas, but if they will reach 10000 supporters, the credit will be all to my children. They are dedicated to Pinocchio, The Sword In The Stone and Bambi. I hope You like and Support them on LEGO Ideas. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/132929 https://ideas.lego.com/projects/133142 https://ideas.lego.com/projects/132855 LEGO Disney Pinocchio Ideas project by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr LEGO Disney Sword in the Stone Ideas project by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr LEGO Disney Bambi Ideas project by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr

  5. Hi, Lumiere from Disney film "Beauty and the Beast" is just a cool guy that I had to make in LEGO . It was a personal challenge to use only pearl gold parts and not to be tempted to use yellow parts with a greater variety of shapes. It was a puzzle to come up with a completely gold candelabra that resembles Lumiere, but I had fun and I am very happy with the result.
