  1. Hello everybody, I've been looking at some threads here, and I found some pretty nice ideas for the thing that I like the most, minifigure customization. I like making purist figures more than anything, and I'm specialized in Marvel Comics and Star Wars minifigures. What I'm looking for is some parts to use to make rather obscure villains of the Hulk; The U-Foes. I've been searching for many ways, and could come up with nice designs, but I would also like to see what people think is good. The U-foes are Ironclad, Vapor, Vector, and X-Ray. You can give me ideas, whether they're based off the regular comics design, the ones from the Video-Game, or even a custom design of yours. Every idea would be appreciated!
  2. I've become quite a fan of the new Shoretroopers from Rogue one and look forward to obtaining them in Lego form, there is 3 varieties of Shoretrooper; Soldier, Squad Leader and Captain, so far we've had Captain (http://brickset.com/sets/75154-1/TIE-Striker) and Soldier (http://brickset.com/sets/75171-1/Battle-on-Scarif) do you think we'll get a Squad Leader figure, possibly with dual-moulded arms and a skirt piece? what are your thoughts?
  3. I recently purchased "The Lego Batman Movie: Making of the Movie". It has concept art, goes behind the scenes, and has alternate designs for the minifigures and vehicles seen in the movie. I definitely recommend it since I feel it is aimed at an older audience than some of the other Lego Batman Movie books. Some of the alternate minifigure and vehicle designs shown in this book were outstanding and others were monstrosities. Below are a few alternate villain designs I would have preferred. This Scarecrow design is unique and creepy and I love the scarf piece he has. His torso print is pretty basic, but the fear gas shooter makes up for it. The scarecrow minifigure we got is cool, but this one looks so much scarier. I really do appreciate the nod to the classic Lego crocodile in the Killer Croc big figure we got, however, this design is awesome. Maybe it is just because I am an Arkham Asylum game fan, but I think his face and collar make him feel more like Killer Croc than the current version. I wish they would have at least kept the bandages on the official Lego version. This Two-Face design looks like someone set fire to a classic Lego minifigure, I love it. I'm not a huge fan of the Two-Face minifigure we got, I do like how it is Billy Dee, however. This design, though would have me paying the $60 for that set. Oh and in case anybody was wondering about the Joker's alternate designs, believe me they are horrendous. So what do you guys think of these designs, do you prefer them to the current minifigures?

    BATCAVE INVASION Trailer

The Joker (Lego Batman Movie Version) and his super villain squad invade Batman's Batcave. Batman must form his own super hero squad from members of the Justice League to help ward off the threat! The trailer for an upcoming stopmotion animation I've been working on for the past two and a half weeks. I finished the final cut at around 7-8 yesterday and whipped up this small preview. I will be releasing this on my studio's YouTube channel (the same one you are watching the trailer on) on the 18th (Tuesday) so be sure to subscribe so you don't miss it! Thanks for watching!
  5. Some simple Fantasy Figbarfs that are the products of Table Scraps. The Heroes, from Left to Right: A Godling (an Other-Dimensional Being), a Wizard, a Star-Knight, an Archer, and an Alchemist. The Villains, from Left to Right: A Shadow Knight, a Desert Wizard, a Sorcerer, a Wraith, and a Witch. (CC Welcome, and let me know if you want their Names + a Mini-Backstory for each of them!)
  6. Hi After the overwhelmingly positive response to my James Bond project, which is still a WIP, I have decided to make a sister project of Bond's famous adversaries. Like the Bonds, these will all be purist and I am open to any suggestions, feedback or constructive criticism, enjoy! Please note, some of the descriptions may contain spoilers for the associated movies. Dr Julius No (Dr No) "Unfortunately, I misjudged you, you are just a stupid police man" The first Bond villain, Dr No plans to demonstrate the power of SPECTRE by sabotaging US Space launches from his secret base in Jamaica. Having lost his hands through radioactive exposure, he has metal claws strong enough to crush a gold statue. Donald 'Red' Grant (From Russia with Love) "I get a kick out of watching you, the great James Bond, find out what a bloody fool he's been making of himself." Grant is SPECTRE's most formidable assassin, sent to kill Bond aboard the Orient Express and steal back the top secret Lektor machine he took from the Russians. The figure is carrying the exploding briefcase that causes his downfall after he blows his cover as a fellow British agent by ordering red wine with fish. Auric Goldfinger (Goldfinger) "This is gold, Mr Bond. All my life I've been in love with its colour... its brilliance, its divine heaviness." A millionaire obsessed with Gold, Goldfinger embarks on the crime of the century, to break into Fort Knox, but doesn't plan to take a single bar of gold... Elektra King (The World is not Enough) "You wouldn't kill me. You'd miss me." After her oil tycoon father is assassinated, Elektra inherits the King pipeline, bringing crude oil from Azerbaijan to Europe. She and Bond become extremely close, before she reveals her villainous intent to monopolise oil production with a nuclear meltdown in Istanbul. Gustav Graves (Die Another Day) "You're a rare challenge, Mr Bond. " A wealthy diamond miner, Graves has developed the Icarus satellite, supposedly capable of increasing daylight in parts of the world which normally spend months in darkness, however he is in fact the disguised Colonel Moon, a North Korean war criminal who Bond supposedly killed. Graves and Bond meet during a fencing match, so I have re-created that look here. Le Chiffre (Casino Royale) "I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire." A maths genius and expert poker player, Le Chiffre is also a terrorist banker who uses his skills with statistics to play the stock market, but when Bond prevents a terrorist attack on Miami Airport, his plan to profit from a drop in airline stock fails and he must turn to the casino tables to recoup his loses, hence he is seen here with a gambling chip. That's all I have for now, I hope to post some more (and better pictures!) soon!

    [ MOC ] Sinister Six's Rhino

So I managed to complete Rhino (Aleksei Sytsevich) based on the version from the film Amazing Spider-Man 2. I am not really a mech guy, and so it is my first time doing a exo-suit. I took quite some images as references, and with them I created this model. It is supposed to be a big armor standing upright, but also leans down a little bit to resemble a rhinoceros when it is running and charging at targets. "You want me to come down so that you can kill me?" "Yeah!" "Okay Ill be right there." I insisted to make the thighs bigger than the calves, but the existing parts are not in good sizes until I discovered using them in 45 degrees. It looks much better in this way. Now it is in running mode: Probably better to run first to buy time! Rhino is heavily armed but that means he is also slow... Armed with two machine guns, the Rhino also has missile launchers on the shoulder. For left shoulder, I follow the original and put a shield-like plate there. Aleksei Sytsevich can sit inside comfortably...until Spider-Man defeats him! The head is probably an interesting use of part as I found no other piece / build that suits my intended design. The back is also a tricky part, because while it needs a lot of details, it also serves as a spine that hold the structure tight and stable. I also managed to follow the original design and put two "fins" at its "butt" location. Now, with Rhino, my Sinister Six team is complete. I also made my own Vulture and Green Goblin designs. Hope you all enjoy this and now I have to run and hide until Spider-Man defeats them all! Thanks for watching!
  8. It is Chinese New Year here and so I have a little holiday. With the free time I finally have the chance to clean up my Lego shelves and the superhero sets. After that, I think maybe it is a good time to take a record photo for them :) It is just my humble share, and I believe some of you may probably have a bigger setup! Have you guys read the comics from Marvel and DC? How many of them do you recognize in these photos? Full image: http://d.pr/i/Xdin Full image: http://d.pr/i/zsbW Full image: http://d.pr/i/i0HQ Actually I think the villains in Marvel sets are overlooked. Dr. Doom is a huge villain who is just impossible to die, and so is the upcoming Mandarin. Therefore, I am MOC-ing something for the armored Dr. Doom, a Viper or something, after completing a Freeze Boat for Mr. Freeze. How about your setup? Let's share it!
