  1. Good evening everyone, Today I would like to present another "international" model. This is the "NSB Type 49 - Dovregubben" of the Norwegian State Railway. It was built between 1935 and 1941 and was mainly used on the "Dovre-Railway", that´s the reason why the locomotive is also called "Dovregubben". The model consists of approx. 1020 individual parts, is 58 studs long and approx. 10 studs wide. It can be driven by two M-engines, one above the other in the boiler. The IR receiver is located in the cab and the battery box in the Vanderbilt tender. This model was developed from a former customer request and was a special challenge, since there are unfortunately only very few meaningful photographs or pictures in the Internet to find. Usually only black and white. Therefore we mainly used photos of a H0 model. Praise and criticism are very welcome. Kind regards Martin Further pictures in the flickr-folder or on our homepage
  2. (sorry for my bad english) I'm thinking which suspension type should I use for my race car. I'm doing it outta LEGO Mindstorms (NXT/EV3). It's suposed to be RWD (with differencial) car for racing on flat surface. But on the the track the is one jump - it has 15 cm (or 5.9 inch). And I need suspension that is going to be light, kinda robust (it has to survive fall from 15 cm (5.9 inch) and also simple. I was using multilink suspension in the back and something like McPherson in the front, but it didn't worked as i wanted. So I'm thinking about using still multilink in the back, but double wishbone suspension in the front. (I'm using soft springs because car weights 850 g (or 1.87 lbs)). What do you thing is it allright or should I change it, or are there some bad sites of this two types of suspension ?
  3. I know that normal bricks are made of ABS plastic, but what about technic elements? I would assume that axles and beams are made from another material than ABS. Connectors, joiners etc. are probably ABS. But I also want to know what a "safe" temperature of the various elements are? I can't seem to find anything on google
