Great Pirate Treasure - 49 Pieces Jack and John, also known as the Pirate-Brothers, take loving care of their ever-growing treasure. Especially the golden frogs and goblets are regularly polished to a high gloss. Her greatest treasure is her father's hat, he was a great pirate captain. Here we see the two after they've just poured another batch of treasures out of their chest. In the near future they will need a bigger cave. Her parrot James is her faithful companion, he loves the treasure too. He likes the golden chicken the most, that's why John and Jack will never sell it. This photo shows the newer Version (20.08.2023) after creating a cleaner look. Jack and John are very happy: more space for more treasures :-) This was the first version. Thanks for advice. 49 pieces. I used 2 older minifigs and new and old parts from my stuff. The Chest is empty.

Hello! I entered the competition to make a remake of the 1889 Lego Pirates set. Hidden in a small cave in the rock is a treasure chest full of diamonds, covered by a door made of vegetation. THE ADMIRAL'S HOUSE This LEGO set is a 14th century house located in an archipelago. The Admiral, a former pirate, hides his treasures in this house which is built on a solid rock foundation. It is designed as a play-and-display set. My love for the pirate theme dates back to my very first LEGO set, Sea Mates (6252). After rekindling many fond memories thanks to the Pirates of the Barracuda Bay (21322), it was clear to me that the Imperials deserved their own comeback. Clearly I wasn’t the only one with the idea but luckily I imagined something to expand on the original theme and this is why I believe the Admiral's house would make a fantastic addition to any pirate layout. When you gaze at it, you can imagine being on the island, surrounded by palm trees, engaging in activities like fishing as a merchant or admiring the boundless ocean from the balcony like an Admiral. It was supposed to be my first ideas project but as it was built with +5000 pieces unfortunately it was rejected.

Treasure of the Spanish Plate Fleet, 1716 On July 31st, 1715 one of the wealthiest Treasure Fleets in history wrecked off the coast of Florida. Millions of Spanish coins, jewels, and other valuables littered the shallows. After months of Spanish recovery efforts a small fortune remained lightly guarded on the beach, open to anyone daring enough to steal it. In early 1716, a small group of pirates lead by Henry Jennings, Sam Bellamy, and Benjamin Hornigold raided the small Spanish garrison and made off with a haul equivalent to 10 years of wages for only a single nights 'work'. The wealth of this raid and the inspiration it provided for would-be pirates across the New World, kicked off the final stages of the Golden Age of Piracy. Hi everyone. I'm new here, and I really, really wanted to show you my latest MOC... the legendary Scrooge McDuck's Moneybin. The project is also available on Lego Ideas (link at the end of the post), but first let me give you a tour, so you can check with your eyes if it's worth your vote . Be sure to scrool the pictures till the very bottom. I promise you won't regret it. LEGO SCROOGE MCDUCK'S MONEYBIN by Matteo Sperati, on Flickr This is the front, with the iconic huge dollar sign. The armored door is the first element of playability: it can be opened and closed pulling the two bars attacched at the side of each half. Also, it is not very clear from the picture, but the small stairway has two lion heads at the bottom, to give the entrance an imposing and intimidating touch As you can see is quite a tall building (33,3 cm, or if you prefer 34 bricks, from the baseplate to the top of the dome). On the roof we have the famous dome, that here I adapted into an helicopter landing pad. I couldn't not include the cannon to shoot at the evil Beagle Boys and a telescope to read the newspapers for free. Ok, now the interior. I wanted this set to be fun for adults to build and extremely fun for kids to play with, so it had to be easy to access every feature. The easiest way was to put the front wall on a separeted baseplate, so all you have to do to 'get in' is to push it away. As for the floors, they can be easily removed thanks to the trail design: they slide in the groove bricks inside the external walls, so it's easy to get into action And now the ground floor. I designed to be the most intimidating possible. Imagine: you are a business man and you have a meeting with the richest and toughest duck in the world. As soon as you enter, you don't have the time to enjoy the nice floor with dollar mosaic because you notice that a security camera is pointing at you. The frame with "TIME IS MONEY" also is not very welcoming, you wait your turn on the green sofa... and then you realize that is placed right in front of a giant anti theft protection cannon. As if it this wasn't enough, you also have a Scrooge McDuck's painting that seems look at you. AND IT IS, because that wall hides a secret passage, with an hole to spy from behind the painting... but what's so important that Scrooge wants to hide? Treasures, of course. What else do you expect from the richest and most adventurous duck in the world? Notice also the black lever to turn back the secret passage ;) Here you can enjoy the anti-theft protecion cannon in action... "Say hello to my little friend" And now the first floor, with the private rooms of Scrooge. On the corridor, a picture of him from when he was to work as gold prospector in Klondike, but most of all, the frame that says "There is no such a thing as talent, only inspiration and ambition". But let's see better the others room... Have you ever tried sleeping on a canopy bed made of 100 dollar bills? Trust Scrooge, you will sleep like a baby Sleep well, but get up early: Scrooge knows it well, he even has a frame in front of his bed to remember it. On the bedside table, a nice family picture from great comic writer Don Rosa. SALON 1 by Matteo Sperati, on Flickr And now the salon, or is it better to call it "Worry Room" ? Why do you think that carpet is threadbare that way? Scrooge's nervous walking, of course. What a shame, it was only 60 years old . We also have a library, a pendulum clock and a marble bust with laurel leaves (I can easily Scrooge get inspired by great leaders from the past). Here is Scrooge, literally showering in money, happy as a baby. He even has the shower curtain made of dollars And finally the second floor, with his big office. This is definitely my favorite floor, I made sure to put EVERY SINGLE DETAIL that I remember from the comics: EVERY SINGLE ONE. There is the giant vault door, the display case with his beloved number 1 dime, the earth globe, the weelbarrow full of coins, the pyramid of coins with Donald polishing them, the money bags, the graphic wih his profits skyrocketing, the gun on the wall, the desk with multiple phones and an old crank calculator... but wait, what's that lever under his desk? This is my favorite feature. I didn't like the classic way to make the trapdoors work, with the stick to be removed and then manually put back. No, I wanted it to feel real, so I designed the mechanism in a way that opens the trapdoor when you push the lever forward, and automatically closes it when you pull it back. What do you think about? Please let me know Ok... now the moment you were all waiting for...what it would be the MoneyBin without the giant money pool with his 3 cubic acres of cash? Let me explain how it works: sure, you could open the vault hatch, but to access the money pool, we actually have to go to the back. The back wall can be removed (it's easy to pull thanks to four bricks that stick out). With the back wall removed, we can admire the money pool thanks to the 9 big transparent panels . We have the trampoline, the giant meter to measure the level of cash... and not a single coin. why? Maybe the Beagle Boys stole it all? No, it's empty because you are the one going to fill the MoneyBin. The MoneyBin is in fact a giant piggy bank, that you can fill through the apposite coin slot on the back of the roof. Once filled, this is the final result AND NOW THE IMPORTANT PART... With the free-for-all in the Eastern seas, Hernan Orellana outfitted an expedition to sail for the islands, to see if he might capitalize on the chaos gripping the region. The night before his departure from Weelond, Orellana went for a drink at one of the local watering holes. There he met a man who claimed to have escaped from Lotii captivity. The man told Orellana that upon his escape he had grabbed several Lottii artifacts including a map that, he claimed, led to an ancient civilization on the island of El Oleanda. Although feeling pretty doubtful about this stranger's story, Orellana purchased the map and departed for the island the very next day. Throughout the voyage Orellana studied every inch of his map, but it was only after the cook spilled a mug of lemon juice on it that it revealed its secret. Beneath the marked city on the map, the juice revealed what appeared to be a small oval with a maroon dot and the word Thabthim written inside of it. Several days later the expedition disembarked on the southern coast of the island of El Oleanda, purposefully avoiding all settlements as they didn’t want anyone seeing what they were up to. After a day's march through the thick jungles of El Oleanda, Orellana’s expedition arrived at the ruins of what his men had begun to call Thabthim. But Orellana could just not get that strange gold and maroon oval out of his head. Just as the group began to leave the courtyard a loud rumble came from beneath Orellana’s feet and all of a sudden he was falling. Below the central ruins of El Oleanda was the Golden Altar of Thabthim, a shrine to a god of the ancient Oleandan civilization. The altar held a massive ruby surrounded by ornate gold pieces, untouched by looters, protected from the world for centuries. Previously: The Buccaneer's Dread Sinking of the Shuriken Burglars! Captain Nordau Our mysterious Garveyan smuggler whistled along as his little sloop sliced through the calm sea. It was a fine, cloudless day somewhere near Terraversa, and it so happened that just one day before, the notorious pirate Unrigged Nordau had had the good fortune to sink an Eslandolan ship somewhere in the vicinity... a ship with a chest on board... "Aha! Shiver me timbers, now what's this?" exclaimed our smuggler with a wink to no one in particular (he was the only one there), as he caught sight of a little sand bar sticking up out of the ocean, with a half-sunken object up against it, doubtless driven there by the waves and tide. "I thought so." And shifting course, he made way for the island, leaping out and drawing a pistol from his coat the instant the sloop's keel grated on the sand. He looked around in curiosity and caution. This chap was enough of a pirate, anyways, to know that you should always look twice if there happens to be a skeleton leaning up against the tree beside you. (In this case, however, it was only the remains of a poor marooned Mardierian who had been there long before the chest ever arrived). But, as the saying goes, better safe than sorry. Having concluded that the skeleton was merely a coincidence (not to mention its obvious aesthetic necessity - our smuggler was a adept at all the classic pirate stuff and probably knew exactly what was going on; a treasure chest is nothing if there's not a skeleton nearby) and that the confused frog posed no real threat, he carefully hauled the chest up onto the sand, and popped it open. "Capital, capital," he ejaculated, "the very ticket! Now, if that ain't just the thing." He slipped his hand through the treasure, quickly, before snapping the lid shut again and heaving it into the sloop. "1,000 Doubloons," he muttered under his breath... And a couple of fig-less shots: One last overview: A continuation of this story (I've got way too many going at the moment ), explaining how Captain Nordau got a hold of 1000 of my doubloons besides the 6000 from Kai. I'll be licencing this little sloop too and sending it out as a Black Flag (under Unrigged Nordau, of course), and will certainly be continuing this story when I get the time! ... whenever that might be I've also got that duel story with Titus, and the other mysterious Captain guy, and one or two other things up my sleeve that have got to get done, but...! Steve Gaels, adventurer during his free time and working in a Parisian museum, found a very old map on a market in London. When he found out that that map could help him discover the lost treasure of an ancient and extinct tribe, he took the first plane to North America. Hapapou is a Native American who crossed Steve's path after he lost a poker game - and almost his life - just before Steve saved him from outlaws. Hi all. I'd just to like share my first Pirates MOC - "Mutiny of the Map". This was inspired by Nivremis' MOC of the island shown on a Lego pirates treasure map. That made me think about other possible scenarios around the treasure map... and this is what I came up with. A reason for mutiny! Hello fellow humans! Here is a build that i completed very early this year, after dedicating many, many hours to it over last year. When I was a kid, I always wanted to build a large tree house out of LEGO but never had the parts or the disposable income.. Now, I have both of those things, I thought it was time to get it on the drawing boards. I would have posted it heaps sooner, but these pics were taken for Bricks CULTURE magazine #6 and wanted to do the right thing by them and hold off until the next edition was out. As I'm still getting used to uploading images and yet to tweek the RAW ones to a usable file size, this is all i have for you to check out here.. Though if you'd like to check out some of the finer details and the rear side, please jump over to my Flickr account here and have a squiz! There is quite the philosophical story behind it all, but I'll leave that for the pages of BC. Thanks to Cristian Brunelli for the great photographic shots, as my camera, if you could call it that, wouldn't stand up to the task in the state of my studio. Oh yeah, just by the by, the chairlift, waterwheel and waterfalls all move thanks to the Power of a single XL PF Motor and a string of gearboxes.. And I'd be more than happy to prove it to you, if someone has some footage.. I was lucky enough to get these shots! haha! Anywho, Enjoy.

In search of the lost treasure (comic story at modular set)

Do you like stories about secret rooms, hidden maps, the secret signs and ancient treasures? I will tell you one such story. Once upon a time lived a famous architect. He even built palaces for kings. He was fabulously rich and famous. He was very fond of gold and jewels. And all the money he spent on them. But when he died, left a very strange Testament. The old architect wrote in his testament that he hid all his gold and jewels. The map and the key to the treasure he left for storage to the Admiral Carl Jonson who was a close friend of the architect. It seems that everything is simple. But the admiral died 10 years earlier than the architect. Therefore, it is impossible to ask the Admiral, where the treasures are hidden. People says that the treasure has not yet been found. Maybe you can find them? Good luck! So I made a little comic about a treasure hunt. This story happened on this pedestrian street. Hi, LEGO pirates fans. I uploaded my last creation long ago. This is my next creation – black pirate fortress decorated with a skull at the entrance, with huge rubies instead of eyes. Perhaps they are their trophy from Islanders’ temple. To build it I combined 7396,3053,6241, and a castle of 1995 with the first ghost (6090). It seems, there are no stairs in any pirate sets in 2015. LEGO designers were more attentive to such details before. I know it because I've been collecting LEGO sets for more than 25 years now. Every time I create something, I wonder how other LEGO fans like it. If you like my creations you can support some of them in LEGO ideas. C & C are welcome. Sorry for the quality.

Good morrow to you, Eurobricks! The present day I giveth thee a 378-piece model formulated off of a watermill from medieval times! It includeth three minifigures- two evil knights and a miller who eke worketh as a blacksmith. The setteth itself includeth an assortment of interactivity and functions! This is the exterior of the watermill. As thee can see, tis very fusty and worn, with much of its structure appearing through the outer stonework, and foliage of various sorts adorning the walls. The back of the model. Hither thee can see the outer defense which comprises of a minuscule catapult, and the second floor's blacksmith shop. Thee can eke see the mill wheel and a very-poorly guarded hatch of sorts. I ponder what 'tis hiding? Aye! The panel swings upward to reveal a rare and most precious chest holding the mill's treasure. Thither beest a spider looking to maketh its home within the dank cellar! Hither we eke see the gear system that is hath used to rotate the mill wheel. The activator resides at the apex of the tower aside o' the catapult. I asketh thee to giveth me any thoughts, comments, criticisms, and appraisal that thee wish to giveth! I wilt fain lend mine ear to it.

Previous Builds Intro: Silent Wolf FB: "Flying Colt" Ch1 CatA: Ahoy, Fishermen! FB: Back at the Ranch... Silent Wolf and his friends spent a week with the natives. They were hosted by the village. During this time, they learned some of the information about this land. One of the surprising things they learned was that the village had been visited years ago by other men like the Corlanders. They discovered this when they heard the natives speaking some words that they recognized from their merchant and military missions in the Old World. The natives told Micah and his friends that the previous visitors had come a long time ago. Only the most elderly remembered them. The natives declared that the visitors had been crazy which is why they never came back. The visitors enjoyed spending their time inside the earth. Only crazy people go inside the earth, because every smart person knows it is dangerous. When Micah asked, no one was willing to show them where the hole into the earth was. Later, one of the young natives who was called Hanska told them that though the tribe was afraid of the hole in the ground and the loud noises that came out of it, he had been inside before. He would be willing to lead them there. Leaving Caleb with the ship, Micah, George, William and Arthur followed Hanska through the forest. A girl from the tribe who apparently was interested in Hanska followed the group from a distance. After walking for about an hour, they saw a large rock jutting out of the ground. As they moved torward it, they scared up what appeared to be a pig just like the ones they had back in the Old World. Haska told them they had been left by the former strangers and had grown quite wild and populous on the island. Upon arriving at the rock mound, Haska pulled the vegetation aside that blocked a tiny entrance into a narrow cave. The men lit the three torches they had brought and squeezed one by one through the opening. Descending into the cave, they saw a light up ahead. When Micah walked into a room of the cave, he saw a tiny rowboat sized opening that revealed that this cave opened into the ocean. Then he saw it! Chests and chests full of something! If the one that was broken up was any indication, it was a hidden treasure that had rested their for the last seventy years. They were all shocked! An overview of the MOC: -

Hi, LEGo pirates fans. It took me much time to create it. And you can judge if it’s worth it. The size of the village is 48 by 48 studs, but I put the base plates so that you could see the mini figs better. The pirates came to pillage the islanders’ village. It’s so rich that you can see gold, silver and gems anywhere. And the pirates are carrying all that not only in ebony chests but also in baskets, bags etc. Lots of the islanders are weaponless but not defenseless because the sea dragon and the gold and bronze idols, the patrons of the village, won’t let the treasure away so easily. And the majority of the robbers and cutthroats are already being cooked on the rack (which is in the background not to over shock LEGO fans). Another classic horror things are 2 Iron Maidens (a skeleton is falling out of one of them) and The dragon is chewing a greedy pirate who didn’t drop his treasure bag even when the dragon caught him. Achu is sitting on the dragon’s back. Many of the mini figures became grey-haired instantly seeing all that horror. For example the pirate caught by a silver idol who became alive after the pirate tried to steal a huge sapphire from its crown. Some unlucky guys are pierced with the pale. Kahuka wearing his big bloody mask is watching the death feast from his high green throne. Can you see small flames under the rack? I'll try to add a couple of pictures from other angles later. Any C&C is welcome. Please support my 2 LEGO ideas projects if that's interesing for you. Pillage the Village is going on! You can see an idol in front of the first vigvam. It became alive and caught a pirot - no escape! There are some poisonous red snakes in the bushes. Greedy and unlucky pirates don't see them.

While we wait to see what Nexo Knights has in store for us, I thought I would share another MOC I just made. One of Robin Hood's Merry Men enters the village ready to give out stolen treasure . . . since his cart looks to be carrying refreshment, he is able to smuggle the treasure in without being stopped by the Sheriff of Nottingham's men! This MOC includes a horse-drawn cart featuring a barrel full of treasure, and two minifigures: One of Robin Hood's Merry Men to steer the cart, and a village blacksmith ready to gather up the treasure (as shown in the last image). Hello everyone. This is my first project/submission for the LEGO ideas site. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/92483 I am also doing the troso prints but they will be done in a week so I did not want to wait and added the prject already however I will update the pictures later. [pid][/pid] 253C Built for the Jolly Roger Contest on Forbidden Cove. I've been wanting to build a coast scene with cliffs for a while now, the JRC gave me the incentive I needed to finally do it. The pirates had just dug up a large cache of treasure when a Redcoat ship spotted them from the sea. The ship quickly dispatched two rowboats full of soldiers to attack the pirates. Will the pirates be able to successfully defend their new-found treasure? Or will the soldiers capture the treasure for His Majesty? Check out more pictures here: link C&C appreciated
